I loved loved loved that scene. It is no secret that I have been waiting for such a scene since soooooo long. Would have liked if the initiative was from Aastha's side. But Shaurya never really gave her a chance earlier so it is fine.
Glad that they begun on a friendly note. Sharing favourite foods and movies. It is a truth that parents become like friends once you become adults. I want Shaurya to have that friendly relationship with Aastha. She is never going to push him, never demand anything from him. She will never be the typical mother which is good in a way. Devi can be his mother, Aastha will be the friend he never had. With time, as they get to know each other more, Shaurya will perhaps share things with her that he will not be able to do with his Badi maa. Aastha will listen to him without being judgemental. So much wishful thinking.
Shaurya wanted to know his parents' lovestory. But what she told was not shown. I so wanted to know what Aastha saw in nikamma Shaan. 😆
I felt Shaurya did fumble a bit. But he went there prepared not to let his anger and hurt take over. Like we used to do in school, before giving a speech.😆
Loved Deepa's acting. She was overwhelmed with emotions. She was at a loss for words with such an unexpected gesture from Shaurya's side. She was smiling through her tears. There was so much happiness that she didn't know where to keep it. It felt like even she found a friend after so many years.
So Aastha not knowing about the marriage and Anokhi not knowing that the family knows about marriage is definitely going to create some problems. I cannot predict what. Shaan ko kya hua? Why hasn't he told Aastha about their son's kartoot? Seems he is not on talking terms with Aastha after the fallout post engagement.
Really, how did Devi thinks that Aastha will ask Anokhi to choose career over love when she herself did the opposite? Perhaps she thinks Aastha learnt her lesson hence stops her students from repeating her mistake.
