I mean its clear Sai thinks that if he could marry her JUST to fulfil a promise to her father, then if he HIMSELF made a promise to someone then he intends to keep it and she feels like she is getting in the way of that by staying with him. Thats why she keeps talking about leaving! Even the Samrat matter she did not mean it in a negative way. But Virats outburst stems i think from guilt of knowing/feeling that his jeeva DID indeed leave because of finding out truth about him n pp.

I think Sai is crystal clear about how hurt and affected she is by virat pp past. She also has clearly spelt out that her hurt or frustration is coz she thinks she is coming in the middle of his vaada to pp to never give place in his heart to another woman due to their marriage. And therefore she cannot be his wife in true sense. She has shown that despite knowing of their relationship since before marriage she is still affected by their truth. And her tears, her "baukhla" jaana, the way she feels "cheated" as she said dhoka diya, hurt kiya, chot pahuchaaya, the way she told pp- you can have him, the way she said "i forgot but now I remember everything again" - everything points to exactly what the problem is.
The onus is on Virat to clarify. He really needs to just say that pp is inconsequential to him and maybe have the courage to admit that the past with pp did exist but was a meaningless 2 day infatuation. He does not need to confess his love to Sai but he just needs to put a full stop to Sai's feeling that he still loves pp but is only holding himself back due to maryaada of relationships and his zimmedari towards Sai while he is married to her. I think Sai is completely right in feeling dejected and confused. Virat and her had started settling into a husband wife rythmn before this happened. So now she is back to square one. She is not blind to the progress made by them as a couple or that Virat does respect his boundaries with pp but she obviously feels like he is only staying holding himself back due to constraints placed on him by his marriage to Sai and pp's marriage to Samrat.
