This is my understanding of her feelings and her character.
If you see her as a young girl, who fell madly in love (not yet realized though) with her husband, and his ex prying on him, and he is bound to the ex at certain level (which she is trying to estimate), and she thinks there is something to hope in their marriage, but husband doesnt voice his affections...etc etc. She is going crazy.
Since we are discussing , I want to ask this question.I believe love and respect go hand in hand . Does she respect Virat as an individual? If she did would she question his character with half baked information in public ?
And on top of that she stands for the right. So for her, if her husband is committed to someone, he should just go on with that commitment. she thinks it is only morally correct and she doesnt shy away from voicing it. She distances herself as a wife here and sees it as a third person and confronts them.
Just for the discussion , lets assume Virat is committed to someone then few questions
1.It’s between two people Virat and Pakhi sona third person shouldn’t be judging their relationship or getting involved in that
2. If she is someone who stands for the right and she felt it was morally wrong then why didn’t she do right after the wedding or refused to marry a man with lose morals ? Why now ?
3. When she isn’t his wife or family member then she doesn’t have any rights to interfere in this matter .
I imagine her as being pulled in opposite directions by two strong forces...one is her heart which has hope and expects answers from her husband and one is her mind that says she has to free him if he is committed. The second one wins, and therefore she doesn't shy away from confronting in front of the family.
I understand this and I love the angst , dilemma and everything as long as it stayed between them
