I am so glad you have noticed it. It was very evident in this scene. I have looked at this scene that way and it has actually not bothered me much because of that.

When she says that she doesn't care, he gets hurt, infact that is why he even says that she has only got love and has not loved anyone. Even though Pakhi was a slip of tongue, he was very upset when she said that he can have feelings for anyone. This anger comes out during Amay's fight where he tells that how many times will you say that you don't love me or you never wanted to marry me.

i always felt it starting from their car scene before the marriage itself whenever she said deal marriage or she will leave after her studies gets over it had affected him

It’s not fair to love one and expect love from another. He cannot keep feelings for pakhi in his heart and act hurt when Sai is indifferent.

And it is wrong for him to verbally abuse Sai just because he cannot understand or come to terms with his feelings for her when he was the who asked her to not expect anything from him. I will never romanticise abuse.

I think so, amay's fight also contributed to his outburst here. I dont know which one is first incident though. He definitely started to get upset that she doesnt have feelings for him, very early in their marriage. When he felt rejected, he shows it on her. :( Thats the problem with him. He cant stand that she is not reciprocating. He is going to falter here again. Yesterdays dialogue with Pakhi that he will never questions Sai's feelings is also foreboarding his outburst. He definitely is not a kind of a person who makes Sai guilty for not reciprocating his love, but his emotions running high and being resented at her behavior, he will falter...in a big way. :( Sorry KD syllabus is fresh in my mind.

So please excuse me if I empathize with Sai for being in a situation where she is constantly made to feel like an other woman in her own marriage - deal ir no deal.

It is not fair. From how I see it, telling he loves Pakhi was like reading a textbook, going by theory. He made himself believe more and more that he loved her but his feelings spoke something else. He felt for Sai but his brain thought that when he had committed to Pakhi, how was it even possible for him to have feelings for Sai and moreover Sai was too young. He always pushed aside some connection he felt for Sai. It developed into feelings after marriage because he became confident that she had already become his wife and it is not wrong to have anything for her and after marriage, age also doesn't matter.

Only if he is aware can he do anything sane right? He acted insane due to his own internal conflicts.

Just like how Sai is having one now.
