He thanked her already at home. This time he hugged her and said that we did it because it was their plan to unite them. Yes, Sai was the one who came up with the idea of a skit, because he asked her dimaag mein kya chal raha hai, but it was a joint effort by Sai, him, Mohit, Karishma too. They thanked Mohit and Karishma together.

He also had thanked Pakhi in the stage already. Would have been a nice touch to show him realising that this wouldn't have been possible if Sai had not tried to show interest in Devi's life. Whatever was shown in the skit was the kind of life Devi was leading until Sai entered their life.

Would have been nice for makers to have shown Virat thanking Sai again. But they had to show drama so they moved to Devi's scene.

No one said that Devi shouldn't have thanked her. People atleast asked Devi to thank Pakhi, no one other than Devi thanked Sai. Pakhi played a role but the whole plan of skit was as that of Sai's. Virat only wanted to plan the bday party and get his sister united with her daughter, so when the person whose idea it was wasn't thanked, Pakhi only played a role in it and that too after someone coerced her to.

That's why I love Devi . Patralekha saying Devi Tai brain is like child so sai told her these thing. But children only recognise pure love and they get to know who is genuine and who is pretending and Devi tai knows it from first meeting with Sai and patralekha. Devi tai is inocent and pure and she how much Sai loves her.

Actually it was devi who warned sai to be carful of pakki as she is always after virat during sai gurhapravesh.
