True, the makers have ruined it for us. I had said this another post too, if you forget KKHH and look at it just as a scene in context with the story of Ghum, you will feel better. We need to apply Ghum's storyline in that scene.

Even the Rang barse song I guess was based on a different couple in the actual movie but here they played it for husband and wife. So they can't always fit many scenes from movies in line with the stories of the movies, we should look at it as per the story of our show.

They need not have done this way 😒 but this is the only sane way to look at it. He will have him wife in his arms but will not forget his promise made to his friend which is that he would always be there for her as his friend.

I hated that they gave us this. Just like how we close our eyes or brains during every other insane things they show, have to for this too 😣🙈.
