I guess it's common in other tribes of their areas. In North East India, there are many tribes of a particular community so yeah it may be a practice in one of the particular tribes

Actually she told me woman have a respect there I m not recalling d name of d place , u won't believe that if a female is born then her feets r dipped in kumkum thali & take her footprints which r considered as goodluck symbols.

Yup. In our place, female are given more respect than males. I guess in Meghalaya not Manipur, it happens. As the property is given to the female child, she's not married off but her husband lives with her

Even Sony's other shows are pretty good initially, like ek duje ke vaaste, my mum used to see that, and it was pretty good initially till his brother's marriage, and then 👎🏼
