As a mother myself I can totally relate to Asthas pain , how difficult this journey has been for her. One day my child comes late home I panic then just imagine Astha she has lived years grieving for her son. And now she sees only hatred for her in him, no matter who brain washed him or what her reasons for leaving him were, its her son who has suffered the most.
I suppose she had chances could have made an effort to see him as he was growing up, he was no longer a 4 year old. This reflected what Shaurya said I waited for her , to share my grief with her but she was never around .
A mother can never stop loving or caring a big yes but the child needs to feel that , to be reassured of that love and care. Now Astha is giving good to Devi why didnt she when her son was a bit old enough to come and claim him. Kids understand their parents differences Shaurya would have too, but he was never given a chance. He said my zidd is from my mum. Was zidd more important..?? We see a fierce Astha fighting for her student then why not him.?.

How can he understand her pain and reconcile with her when she made no effort?. After 25 years she goes and says listen to me when he is a fully grown man , will he..?. Why should he? Her words kept ringing in his ears but Devi manipulated him yet again.
I would say yes Astha has suffered but is also responsible for Shaurya's soch today. There was no one to stop her to look after her parents and been in touch with her son whilst he was growing up. Did she ever call Shaan and ask how her son was, she called for Anokhi but not for her own. Split up couples do keep in touch for children's sake. No wonder most of the hate that Anokhi felt from Shaurya was not her as a person but because she was someone that his mum loved and not him.

@Red- Therefore I want to see a proper redemption track for her.. He has suffered for 25 years and is suffering still.. She needs to understand what her child went through after she left..

@Blue- I haven't still understood why Astha couldn't call Shaan once in 25 years to talk about Shaurya.. I mean 25 years is a long time.. Anything can happen to anyone..

Even during admission track, she was leaving when Shaurya questioned her.. When did she try?? It should be her trying to build a relationship with her son because frankly her son doesn't know her..

Only after she was shot, she wanted to meet him etc etc.. Dunno it's bad writing or something else..

@Green- This is worst part.. I feel really bad for Shaurya and want to give a piece of mind to both Shanoor.. They never bothered about their son and were standing together against the world for Anokhi.. Anokhi deserves that unconditional love and support but Shaurya did and does too but there was/is no one for him ever really..

Aastha suffered too but at least as an adult she could understand or accept the circumstances around her or try to do something about them. Whereas Shaurya, a 4 year old, had no understanding of the situation around him, couldn't do anything about it and just grew up with what was told to him by Devi.

@Italics- The problem is only now we see her trying to talk to him.. 25 years of karz and manipulation how could someone let go of it?? It's too much and is killing him..

@bold: Sorry to butt in but I think Aastha and Shaan were in contact. I mean if we go by logic, 25 years ago there were no mobile phones. Given that middle class Indians from small towns could afford a cell phone around 2004-05, that is 15 years back, they had to call at least to exchange numbers.😆

The as per Gayatri, Aastha came to see Shaurya in the hospital. Someone must have informed her.

During Anokhi's admission Shaan said to her that every time I extended the hand of friendship, you rejected it. So perhaps she talked to him only to know about Shaurya but didn't want to restore their own relationship.

As for why she could not contact Shaurya, she was told he would get disturbed seeing her. So she waited for the correct time for him to grow up enough to understand her perspective. Par waiting time overshoot ho gaya. 😆

And I agree it is completely bad writing on CVs part that they have made Aastha so aloof regarding Shaurya. She is not an irresponsible person. The OG Aastha actually tried to talk to her son several times. She waited outside his school and college to talk to him. He avoided her. She even messaged him on every birthday. I don't know why they omitted this aspect. Perhaps to create more sympathy for Shaurya. But in the process, they have done a disservice to Aastha's character.

Yeah they have too many inconsistencies with her character.. It seems at times they are forgetting what she did/didn't in last 25 years.. Here Shaurya didn't know who she was I think till debate competition??😭

Sometimes she is saying I waited outside, I came to meet u and sometimes it's like I couldn't find himmat in 25 years.. 🙄

Sometimes Shaurya is questioning her so she willnot answer.. Sometimes she wants to talk to him..

Thankfully we have Deepa mam still carrying it gracefully despite of the shoddy writing..

I would have really liked FB of her trying to meet him and he rejecting it outright or someone stopping her somehow.. But that also doesn't seem plausible now.. Like after accident she threatened Tejvi and entered with Anokhi.. So, don't really know what happened and what didn't..
