The upcoming episodes of Sony Entertainment Television’s Kyun Utthe Dil Chhod Aaye is going to be high on emotion and drama! With Randheer portrayed by Zaan Khan being imprisoned and Amrit played by Gracy Goswami forcefully marrying Veer essayed by Kunal Jaisingh, the situation is pretty tense.

So much that post-wedding, Amrit who behaves in a very robotic and uninterested manner with Veer becomes a problem point. Veer who is not okay with Amrit’s behavior in a drunken state lashes out at her. On the other hand, he desperately wants Randheer out of the palace and starts devising a plan to get rid of him once and for all. While shooting the entire sequence was intense, it was Kunal’s character Veer who had to give the best shot as an intoxicated person.

Elaborating on the same, Veer aka Kunal Jaisingh shares, “My character Veer lashes out in an intoxicated state and I will not deny, but ensuring I do not go overboard was very tough as it requires a lot of focus and commitment. There is a thin line between acting drunk and behaving like one so, to ensure I play my part well, I caught up on a lot of Bollywood movies that depicted such characters as it gave me a direction on how to play out the scene. I hope viewers take notice and keep showering love as they have been always.”

Their connection is excellent. In real life, I would root for R in a heartbeat and not someone with as trashy morals as Veer! Hate him for whatever he has done to date and can never forgive him if I were Amrit.

But, this is 1951 and viewing it from an era-appropriate lens is essential.

Have you read Amrita Pritam’s Pinjar/ The skeleton and the man or watched the movie?

If not, you should; Veer reminds me a lot about Rashid, who instantly fell in lust/love with the heroine and later responsible for the havoc in her life.

It was an incredible journey of hatred, trauma bonding, acceptance, relief, freedom and finally, CHOICE!

Well, despite being freed numerous times, Amrit always finds her way back to Veer herself. This time, he made it dirty, ugly and unforgiving!

I am wondering how these two will ever find each other now.

@ Red: I have watched the movie, was too young at that time didn't understand what happened and why it happened.. I will try watching the movie again...

@Green:This is what I am thinking too. The makers have damaged Veer's character beyond repair, bt if they are going ahead with the marriage there is still hope...

I don't mind Veer being trashed more. He shall remain my favourite character because of his layers. It's like enjoying a villain for his fabulous arc.

Woh sab thik hai but kuch tho redeemable quality rakho if they are not planning to murder him at the end🤣 I don't want his action get justify at the end by saying dil ka bura nahi hai. i enjoy villain characters if their action didn't get justified or whitewash to make happy ending. After all this I want veer to get killed😈

I think he will be deemed as a JUSTIFIED villain. He will drown in his own misery and the heartache. Trying to own a woman whose heart belongs to someone else.

I don't mind Veer being a villain. I hope the makers do write a classy villain role rather than this continuous episodes of abuse on females......

However, this was much expected. Veer will not come in Amrit's words so easily or will not tolarate Amrit pushing him away. If Amrit wants to have a normal life ( going with the fact that Amrit has now married him for real), Veer's issues needs get sorted or he should die. Since he is not going to die any time soon, his issues need to be sorted. For that Amrit needs to pay attention to him & she need to become smart in handling Veer. But if Amrit fails and he doesn't get what he craving for, Veer will unleash his anger and burn down the world. R is the one who is at risk the most, coz Veer knows he isn't getting what he wants due to him.
