It doesn’t look like that to me. It’s defiantly not tears, he was pretty aloof except for the closeness in the way they were standing. But it looks like 2 people talking , and in the end he was emotional FOR Harini and Devi , not his past

He was visibly pissed when she bought back that past and closed his eyes and took a deep breath not to lose his cool. Well, acting is subjective but that's how I found the scene to be

Well, you’re entitled to ur own POV but when you look at it objectively, it seems like he’s sad and trying hard not to cry (eye movement) when reminded of the past they once shared.

Well if you have made up your mind by objectively looking at it , I don’t know what’s the point of the post asking for others opinion on the same.

I haven’t. I asked everyone to look at it objectively and counter the points I raised. Eye movement, facial expression and body language.

The direction of this entire scene is too bad. Yes he looked kinda sad to me.. It can be due to fact that he is moved on and is happy with sai where as she is still standing there 🥴

He's guilty. He's guilty because of his action, today Pakhi is in a worse condition. He thinks for him, Pakhi a mature woman became like thiz. Stuck in a loveless marriage, don't even know she's widowed or not, will she ever to move on where he himself is happy in his marriage, being able to move on from his past. So when Pakhi reminded him of the past, he felt and realised the same. Pakhi is a very good guilt tripper, she guilt tripped Virat alot! And now doing the same.

To me it looked like he did not want to tread in that direction and not sad about not being with her, sad about what she has done to herself thinking about those few days ,which are nothing compared to the days they have stayed being devar bhabhi..I also feel he would not have felt this bad for her if her husband was around. However I do feel there was a miss in direction. I am having issues with how they are going with Virat Pakhi equation and how suddenly Virat appears to be okay around here, while a few days back he was not fine and extremely irritated. Then again he got to know she was involved in whole Sao ousting issue knowing the whole truth. So he should be angry and he should also not like how she takes Sai's name with loath.. So there I have no clue why they are treading the Virat feeling bad for PP and bechari Patralekha way...especially when we have recently seen him so so enraged.

I am certainly not okay with How Virat is being written these days but I dont mistake it as his remnant feelings for Patralekha.. The remnant feelings have been dealt with during the alta episode when he talks to her about moving on with what life gives you..

Third slide : sorta looks like he’s holding back his tears?

Haven’t watched the episode but read how people had an issue w this particular V-P scene and watched the scene, is he holding back his tears and sad?? I’m confused

No, not all. He didn't look guilty or remorseful even for a minute. His reaction was as if why did I not think twice before bringing up the topic? A person who has no malice will say or do certain things without thinking of the other person's reaction. Same goes with Virat. He has forgotten about Pakhi and has moved on, so he didn't think much about the past. But, Pakhi hasn't moved on and is simply clinging on to her past. And, the minute Virat realised his mistake he clarified that he hadn't come to talk about their past but had come to get her help. And, I was happy he used the word help and ego and he didn't come on his own.
