What role he play ?

What role does virat play ? As d amount of bashing he gets , every dialogue or action of virat & only virat is being analysed & criticised like he is d most worst human born on this earth. Even villains r not bashed this way like virat is bashed daily.

So I m little confused virat is hero or villain of this show .

I don't know about others but mere liye tho he is definitely hero, I agree he is flawed by he have so many character traits which are great and can't find in everyone.....and i can't ignore them ....... so for me he is the HERO in fact better than so many ITV heros

If he would not have been hero, he wont be criticized. With hero, comes the expectation to do the right things. Villains are not analysed for the wrong they do. They are appreciated/criticized for their portrayal. A hero would be analysed and appreciated/criticized for acting as well as shortcomings in the character, when the character is not doing what he was genuinely supposed to do going by the establishment of the character Virat is criticized not because he plays a villain, because he is not shown to be the one he was introduced to be. He has been very lenient with his family and Patralekha both regarding the whole Devi issue, considering he was introduced as someone who always keeps farz over jazbaat.. Dont take it to heart..

People here love Virat and hence they expect him to do right , especially because he was shown to be that person.. I myself started watching the show for Virat and his Neil's portrayal, since I did not know the other two leads and they looked unimpressive at that time.. Kishori JI and Mitali also were actors I liked. But then the writers are playing with all the characters but more with Virat and that is spoiling the essence of the show.

People bash virat because they love him just the way you do .If someone is criticising virat , then it simply means they have some set of expectations from virat and would want virat to fulfill those . Virat and sai both are flawed characters and when they go wrong , people discuss it .

Every character in the show is equally important and neither of them is always correct . Please don’t misjudge others and don’t take everything on your heart .

He's the hero. To be honest this is the first show where a hero is shown as a flawed character similar to a real life person. In real you don't find anyone who's perfect. Nobody is perfect. So, yes he does make mistakes and rectifies them too. And, sometimes he's so adorable. For example in today's episode the way he wipes Sai's tears and understood her pain. These are all characteristic of a hero. Will a villain have these feelings?
