Kuesting as I have zero knowledge about Indian Police system I wanted to know a few things.

1. How does the ranking work in IPS ? I searched on Google and Google Ram confused me more than helping me. 😳
2. What is the highest rank and the lowest rank ? 🤔
3. Does anyone know the entire Indian Police ranking ? 🤔
4. How many years does it take to become an ACP like Virat ? What is the approx age when one becomes an ACP ? 26 years old or 27 ? I mean in general not just Virat. 🤔

I have same questions about Sai :

1. How many years of college and how many years of internship ? 🤔
2. How many years before you are finally a qualified doctor ? Here in my country it takes between 9 to 11 years to get the diploma and become a doctor. 6 years in college and 3 to 5 years as intern. So by the time you become a doctor you are around 27-30 years old. 🤓

Well, the entrance exam i.e, UPSC atleast requires one degree as qualification to write exam, so even simplest ones require 3 years. So, if he is 18 + 3 years, then first attempt mein hi jai bajrang bali hua hai toh bhi he might be 21 or 22 when he might have went to training. Internally then I don't know much. Tabhi I always want to know his qualification🤣

And doctor ka, MBBS course is 4+1, 4 years MBBS, and then 1 year internship.

You can get specialist degrees after this.

You have to clear Civil services for becoming an IPS officer. Highest is obviously 1 and lowest is some 495 rank. Actually Virat's first post should have been an ASP ( Assistant Superintendent of Police) but at some police services in India, ACP is the first post.

Posts other than IPS is taken through other competitive exams . Like Kamal Joshi might have cleared exam for sub inspector first and then promotes to inspector but he can't be an SP. It's start from IPS officers.

Virat's age is perfect for becoming an IPS officer if he cleared the Civil services at the first attempt (it takes several attempts to clear that + plus he topped so he is highly intelligent insaan) after his Grads. I don't think so he did post grad, then training for 3 years. They get their job once they clear Civil services but posting after completion of training.

I don't know entire Indian Police ranking. Though it's lowest is hawaldar/constable and highest is the DGP or Director General of Police.

I can answer for Sai.

It takes 5 years to finish Medicine degree in India. 4 Yeats degree and one year internship gets you the basic MBBS.

2years for MS or MD

In India after clearing entrance exam for Medical, it's 5 year course + 1 year training, (4.5 year of academic + 1 year internship and 6 months in rural) then I guess 1 year of house residentship. Then again entrance exam for specialisation or MD (Post-grad of medicine) which takes 2 years. After that being a quite established doctor takes some 2-3 years. So you can say, at 28-30 year a person can be a full-fledged doctor

I read on Google that at 21 you can go for the exam. Then how many years of training ? Most importantly can you immediately become an ACP or you start with a lower rank. ACP is I guess the 2nd or 3rd highest rank or something. 🤔 What could be Virat's age for example ? 26, 27 or 28 ? 🤓

So are you a doctor around 24 ? Or you need to clear some other exams before becoming a doc ?
