For some reason Bhai has a lot of goodwill in the industry.

Even during his run-in with Vivek Oberoi he had gotten tremendous support, e.g. SLB had publicly come in support then as well.

I am not sure of the reason, but maybe because he regularly gives outsiders and newcomers chances in his productions. Or maybe he actually has good relations with people.
