I always tell others that I don't like to write comments in English but still mostly I write comments in English😕

Hey Sehar, thanks so much for the recommendation, my Dear! 🙏

Will definitely try to lay my hands on “Istanbul: memories and the city”, and then we will exchange notes! :)

You don’t stress too much about the languages...jab jo man hua, woh bol dena...just think of the positive side...you have such diversity in your languages’ prowess...tumhara CV must be looking so good! :)

You can also add Hindi to your list, ‘cos Hindi aur Urdu are very similar.

Actually now that we’re discussing this, I should also include Urdu to my own list...especially, given the improvement in my vocabulary, thanks to the Pak drama industry!😂

I know, Awida, this insatiable greed for power that power hungry leaders have all over the world, is the genesis of all this, and sadly, Yemen, is one amongst many countries at the receiving end of this...

Prayers and good wishes have a lot of power, my Dear Friend...am sure things will get better soon. And, the best part, we’re all praying together...so, the Gods from different faiths will come together, and amplify the result of our collective prayers, manifold...Tathastu/Ameen/Amen to that!😊

Totally agree with you when you say that negativity won’t help, but to be continuously positive, even when things around aren’t, requires strength of a different kind...great admiration for you and your countrymen and women, Awida.

Oh, ok, so you were teasing Sehar...I should have guessed!😁

But I guess since Qatar is a pretty liberal country (at least for the Arab nations), it must be having a night life, albeit of a different kind...like those Sheesha/Hookah bars that one gets to see in Dubai...I don’t think women visit the bars, but at least, it can pass off as night life!😎

I lived in Kuwait for 6 yrs. But I didn't like it. I had to stay at home taking care of 3 kids and I lost my mind. So I had a breakdown .😒 It is important not to have many children soon after marriage.😉

I love my country. I love Aden. Here although my life is difficult.. I feel comfort.. I don't know why. I loved Iraq too and Abu Dhabi. Kuwait was good before I had 2nd and 3rd kids.😆

See this is the patriotic spirit that I was talking about...such hardships and yet so much love that we have for our motherland! So much respect and admiration for you, Awida!❤️

I also liked Abudhabi too, especially the famous mosque...it’s gorgeous...remember going crazy clicking photos of all the karigari there!🤩

That was also the first time I learnt the concept of “Abaya“...I thankfully was anyway in a salwar kameez, and we are also familiar with covering our heads on entering a temple, dargah or gurudwara, here in India...nonetheless, I loved the overall experience...there was something very spiritual about the whole thing!✨

Just finished watching episode 2, and liked it.

Liked Mohib much more in this epi, than the first one...seems like he is a good actor, as @dreamstar was saying...much more layered performance, on display today...when you can’t tell, which way the character is going to swing...positive or negative!

The leads have lovely chemistry...something very understated about it...don’t know if they’ve been cast earlier, but would make for a good pair, in a full-on love story...

The child actor is good too...very good casting for the role!

Some good touches to bring out the ‘unusualness’ of the house...glad they got Sumbul to speak about the flowers in the vase, etc.

The suspense is building up well, and logically too...found it very silly that Aman should find nothing fishy about the electrician having disappeared with only one chappal in the room...glad, they showed him driving to the shop the next morning...

The Ludo bonding scene between father and daughter was very good...attention to detail, nicely captured!👍

Still finding Aman’s motives highly suspect...there was no obvious reason to bring the Sandook down, in the store room...I mean, who does that, especially one day after moving into a new house...it’s the sandook, again, and the photo therein, that lead to the eerieness of the photo on the wall, as well...

Also, his expressions on Sumbul’s “Itni achhi chai to main bhi nahin banati” gave out a lot, without giving out much! Fine storytelling that, and Mohib Mirza, as I mentioned earlier, was very good today!👍

That blink and you miss it introduction to Neeli, was a very good touch...the best moment of the epi!👏

Sumbul’s MIL toh puri Mental hai...hope they use this drama to call out the evil of black magic...is a prevalent practice in the subcontinent and a strong message against it should be communicated through this drama.

Next week’s promo seems interesting...as I mentioned earlier, Aman’s character can go either way...

The only flaw that I observed in the epi...Sumbul keeping the trunk vertically as she drags it outside the house...it was obviously done for the effect of getting it to fall, and therefore being haunted, but could have been handled better, I felt...nobody keeps a sandook vertically, for God’s sake!

Overall, a good epi, and the story is progressing nicely...with the suspense element being handled well!👍

Cheers!
