He's going to turn his back and support his son. Maybe some minor injury is self inflicted to blame Ishqi when police comes.

But Ishqi calling police doesn't make sense at all. Didn't she just say "Agar mein police ko call karoongi, tab hi Sonu ko blame kiya jayega". Why would she take this guy's suggestion and forget the logic here? But I guess ITV has too many loop holes and if you use logic, you can never watch them. Probably explains why I have never watched a serial from 1st episode to last. 🤣

but mayank dad gave phone to ishqki to call police....

in precap ahaan arrived while mayank was getting slapped....maybe ahaan got to know the truth but wont let ishqki to call police for his sisters image...mayank might escape from scene...

police arrest shooting was in day time...which means next day mayank would have complaint againt ishqki for revenge...

precap might be a dream segment just like misleading recap which was a dream of ishki. (what Mayank has done blah blah build up and turned out to be her thinking mind)
