They needed an equally powerful actor opposite mayuri for such an important role. GM ka screen presence is so mind blowing that people look pheeka in comparison. Have to wait and see how he performs.

Important hai kya role? I doubt it. And even otherwise I do not think they would ever get anyone who would overshadow Aditya. That is pretty much the premise right ki Malini can never really sever ties completely. Unless they make the relationship actually flourish.

I do not think it’s important, it’s just a role to move the story ahead I.e. to make sure Aditya and Imlie move forward without that guilt hanging over then that they have wronged Malini... Plus, I agree that they will never get anyone to overshadow Aditya. He is their ML.... bas ab Humein didi ke saath, yeh baande ko bhi jhelna padega 😆

When Adini comes we only see GM😆 The whole effort on Adini is only GM. Even then their chemistry iszero😆. I don't know how GK brought mayuri for GM 🤪. Her dialogue delivery is meh. Mayuri only needs an average actor.

GK only brought Sumbul for GM- in one of her interviews, Sumbul said she was asked to do a screen test with the hero to see how the chemistry looks.
I do not think they did anything of that sort for Mayuri because they are not the lead couple 🤷‍♀️
