I feel that might be the reason there isn’t the same focus on that since it isn’t part of the original story like the letter. It is conveniently forgotten unless they need to bring it back. But what Kaku did to her daughter for her misguided pride of the family shouldn’t be overlooked. She does redeem herself a tiny bit for accepting her marriage and letting her move on with her life.

Kaku made a statement yesterday about not understanding Pakhi’s behavior or words to that effect which made me think she isn’t aware of the connection Pakhi shared with Virat. Did anyone else feel that?

This is also very typical in shows that even though two people will be making googly eyes at each other with slo-mo wind effects no one realizes anything till it suits the storyline. So maybe the family apart from Ashwini and Karishma are clueless about Pakhi’s infatuation with Virat.

Oh yes it is! But I think the letter was there in the original one. I just read someone's post on the forum.

I think kaku doesn't want to accept that she erred by selecting Pakhi as their DIL. So she will ignore things as long as it's out in the open.

I agree. I don't understand how this family can't see anything. Karishma got this doubt because she was there when Virat met Pakhi during that haldi event. The way they reacted made her suspicious and since then she started observing these two. Ashwini got to know it from Karishma-Mohit.

What I actually dislike about Virat is that he wants to avoid the confrontations and fights with his family. So he will get bashed and let his wife get bashed. What he doesn't understand is that his patience level has no limits but why should Sai accept it. He will get angry with her but he won't allow her to speak up when needed. Sai sometimes crosses her line but he needs to understand why.

Again, he should know what happened. Till date, he don't know that Sai was manhandled that day, that too even after informing them that she is allergic!

This makes me realize, how many things did we ignore just to enjoy SaiRat😒

ITV has such poor writing.

Leads itself have been butchered in the name of trp/drama. Toh side characters ki charscter arc/growth/redemption ka toh sawaal hi nahi.

They gave us a Sai n Virat in the initial episodes but in the course of the show they have made Sai n Virat do many things against their character.

The Virat they showed us would never manhandle a woman no matter how gussa, he'd never let anyone go scot free for a crime just coz they are family. And Sai would never rest without making the perpetrators of a crime pay for their sin. She wouldn't forget their deeds and try and do their hruday parivartan by reminding them of their maternal instincts! Sai would not hide the truth/lie about anything especially to Virat.

Its a shame that we have to just accept all this because the makers/writers put no thought and just copy-paste.

What I dislike is his jalebis 🤷‍♀️

I am not supporting anyone here, but I have seen this in my family. My aunt have a problem with her MIL but my uncle doesn't want to get involved in all that. Especially in joint families, it gets difficult because this means the family will behave as if the wife changed their son. But it's not like that. End of the day, wife should face the brunt, no matter how much he supports her.

When Sai supported Shivani bua, the night those ladies had come to CN, he did support her, even in Sai's absence. But then his jealousy took front seat I don't know if I am making any sense or not, but I want to see Virat being more supportive of Sai in front of his family. I can see that in the last few episodes, but I really want him to ask Kaku not to call his wife as JungiMulgi. She has a name, call her by that.

It is! This show started off so beautifully, especially Virat and Sai! Though they are flawed, they did have some character traits due to which we fell in love with them. But they butchered our babies in the name of copy paste, that they have ruined their own creativity!

Both cases are very extreme and though I have issues with most of the things, I am loving their journey :)

Any idea why Sai didn't share it with Virat? Like the way his dil ke ache bade behaved with her? Maybe because of the conversation they had at her college after the sil-batta thing.

Anyway, I have been saying this since so long that they should sit and talk. Virat should know what Sai felt, her troubles and all. I want them to become a strong unit and I hope I am not disappointed❤️

If you observe Sai, she tends to not share much about how the gharwale treated or what actually happened, in detail with Virat.. Until and unless she is forced to..SHe has been pretty much that way.. Even with sil batta issue, she did not share details..
