Will you accept Kaku if there's no kidnapping?

After seeing the jaap of Sai being Kaku's favorite bahu by Karishma and ex-favorite bahu, I am trying to understand her character.

I really liked Sai-Kaku interactions during the initial days of SaiRat's marriage. One- who is so much into patriarchy and the one, who always supports the right. Especially the way Sai convinced Kaku to stay back during their reception or when Sai forcedly made Kaku eat the candy floss, I really like that.

I was so looking forward to Kaku-Sai interactions, I felt one day, Sai will become Kaku's favorite for sure. I was also curious about Devi back then. But after witnessing the kidnap and all, I am confused.

So I want to know your views on this 😳

I think that kidnapping track is supposed to be forgotten. Because it was poorly written and i think most likely makers fully intend to never address it in future. Because how are they going to justify kidnapping. They already let omi go scot free gor bribing and forgery (because only he got blamed, not bk, pp, ninad- the co-conspirators!)

I have a strong feeling they are gonna justify bk in the end as just being conservative but actually being "dil ke acche" sadly. Coz itv mein they just whitewash everything and in itv apart from leads they dont really etch out other characters well. they dont actually make characters "grey", they just make them caricaturish but eventually show them whitewashed n forgiven!

In the end Sai n bk will see each others "acchai" and Sai will be everyone's favorite.

More than the kidnapping what bothers me is that she gave Harini away to an orphanage. 😕 How can this be forgotten and forgiven ? Harini was her own grandchild. Pulkit is no one to her so kidnapping him can still be forgiven.

I think keeping Devi's marriage secret, giving her wrong medicines, giving away her child to orphanage are bigger crimes than getting Pulkit kidnapped.. I am not sure what are the makers planning to do there.. I have issues with Sai being normal with her knowing what she has done and comparing herself with Kaku.. Wrong on so many levels.. The Sai that I know would not be okay with it..

Patriarchal society but she is the matriarch of the family that counts for something, I would like to know how she got this position in her household, she is fascinating in that way

I am okay with any character as long as they pay for what they do

Yes, even I feel so. But the kidnapping is the reason why Sai had to rush the wedding and then the events that followed. So I am trying, but not yet over the kidnapping drama

It's like, our BP gets raised because of their antics, we do so much of analysis on the character and all we get is whitewash. How difficult is it to maintain a character grey?

This concept of "dil ke acche" will make me mad someday But ya, they'll make it as if nothing much happened and whitewash everyone😡

This is what's confusing me. Itna sab kuch karne ke baad how did she change just with Sai's dialogues? That's why I have ignored it, like you guys are ignoring the kidnapping drama

I mean, if at all they want to whitewash her, why not show her repenting for her actions?

Well, so this means even you are not ok with this sudden change in kaku, right?

I know. I skipped the whole episode. I can't see Sai like that.

I can't even see this changed Kaku, like just few dialogues from Sai and boom, her motherly love is awakened So I am just trying to understand your point of views, maybe there's something which I am not able to see or understand :)

Hey Nora!🤗

Her character seems interesting to me, like how did she get a hold on everyone there, what sacrifices(as mentioned by Ninad) she did etc. That would be more interesting to see than this whitewash 🤷‍♀️

@bold- I didn't get you.

They have already butchered Virat and on their way to butcher Sai.. That also shows, how incompetent the writing is , when they could not deal with absence of a lead and had to spoil the stories and character so much.. Virat letting go Omi, just like that, even when he knew that let him to commit a crime against his wife, just a day after he showed extreme levels of anger.. And Sai being so normal with Kaku, as if nothing, nothing happened ever.. I understand her reason for not revealing it to Virat, but not her lack of resentment towards the three....😡
