I thought his gift was not the kiss but the confession that was to come after the kiss..or with the kiss..

He was to confess his feelings, he practised the monologue before. His confession along with a kiss love was a gift for Sai telling her that in this world there's someone who loves her unconditionally.

I didn’t like the dialogue tbh. He should’ve said he wants something from her. Also I didn’t like how he said, “I have a gift for you because you did this and this for me and my family,” then proceeds to kiss her - Like ??? Bro ???

Ugh they need to give this man better dialogues. They’ll copy from KD what shouldn’t be copied and leave out what should be copied.

Well I don't find any wrong there. Sai must have realised that Virat was comingclose to her, his breath might have fanned on her ya his body scent but she didn't really flinched. It's really moment when she asked what private moment.

Secondly, he must have thought to make her feel special through action first than through words. No need to inspect every deed of him by keeping under a rader
