It is been trend to do damage control by the cast especially Aayesha when a particular person creates havoc on social media.

I only mentioned other actors to give an example because things have happen with other actors too.

I hope you don't take this discussion as me refusing to see your side or be confrontational. I am liking your view points, just disagree with it. Hope we continue to discuss on other topics too!!

I love Sai, but I am not in love of fictional characters enough to mistake Pakhi-Virat and Sai as Neil, Aish and Aayesha. However, when the actors playing ML and Vamp in every interview kept calling character of Sai "badtameez" in same tune, but when Pakhi was asking for EMA to Virat and acting OTT in the hospital even after Virat's constant refusal, the ML in his real life social media defended the character of Pakhi saying they are trying to portray love of Pakhi and Sai for Virat. That is not me or another fan mistaking the reel for real, it is the actor playing ML doing it!!

Exactly, Pakhi's dialogues don't even make sense because the character after sometime makes no sense. However, the screen space of the character is almost equivalent to ML and FL. In yesterday's episode too she was there in more than half of the episode. If the Beizati wasn't there her character would have been bashed even more because the way the character goes on shouting at the female in the couple and insults her while the male in the couple softly answers her or stays quiet. In yesterday's episode too the dialogue to Sai from Virat that "tum Pakhi ki aisi baizati kyu kar rahi ho" was ridiculous because the actual aggressor was Pakhi, but such dialogue is never deliverd to Pakhi by Virat in Sai's presence, but yes in Pakhi's presence Sai is told anything and everything.

Here I agree they made an alcoholic write dialogues for Virat because otherwise in yesterday's episodes and many more he wouldn't have told Sai that "she was insulting Pakhi" when the reality was otherwise!!

When actors give interviews and on their time line defend the useless actions of a fictional character they are playing is ridiculous. I don't see why they do this unless its real-life equations coming in to play!! I respect your opinion, but I stick to mine.

Actors giving interviews and sharing their views is their opinion, like we have opinions, they are allowed to have opinion on their characters too

You were saying that Ayesha doesn't get her dues, she has gained maximum fan following, her character gets maximum attention, the whole show revolves around her

Let's be real, none even points out that she is not a good actress, none else gets this privilege on the show

Where exactly is she not getting her dues? Are you telling me for an actress, one IV with her costar is more important than everything else I have mentioned? The whole show is Sai, which is #1 in TRP charts and she is not getting her dues because Neil defends Pakhi?

I am sorry but I don't understand this need to make someone a victim when she is clearly not a victim of anything

I am sure Ayesha doesn't consider an IV with Neil as something important in her career, I don't even know what IVs they give, so I don't really understand how it matters

Ayesha is living dream of every ITV actress with her show being #1 in every possible chart, with acceptance from both online and offline audience

@Bold

It is sad distortion of facts, as if the guy doesn't get bashed enough for having a fiancée

Anyway, Neil didn't defend any EMA, I remember someone said Pakhi was abusing Neil and the episode was one where Pakhi was taking care of Virat, Virat was unconscious and Sai was looking at moon

Most fans said that it was sexual harassment so Neil said they didn't intend to portray anything sexual in the scene, it was to present how both Pakhi and Sai care about Virat

What they are trying to portray in a scene is decided by writer and director, and I agree there was absolutely nothing sexual in that scene

To each their own

I don't see Ayesha as a victim, I see her as someone who has gained the most from this show

Honestly I don't know why people want to show that Ayesha and Neil were not in good terms. They're really comfortable on-screen and today's video together is a proof. Here it's not allowed to talk about offscreen stuff, but anyone who watched the video knows how they're goofballs together. Neil comments on several posts on Insta, I can comment on many actors who don't even promote their serial..well the ph is only biased towards Vir—akhi, what to tell about actors. But I won't ever be silent if anyone tells Ayesha and Neil aren't good friends offscreen. One doesn't have to post 104+ stories and comment on each and every post to show the friendship

Despite she is deprived of interview space as FL audiences love her, Thats the reason she has gained what she has gained. It has nothing to do with anyone else especially, her co-stars who take away that space and happily interview. Interviews do add to actor's popularity, but she did it even without that. About acting, She is superb. Initall days, she lacked, but her graph has been great. Her scenes with likes of Kishoriji and Bhartiji are stupendous let alone Neil. In fact, her acting is what has given her the love from the audience. I guess we will totally disagree here!!

I am not making her a victim when I point out the open partiality in interviews from her costars. Fortunately, her acting has stricken a chord with the audience, so she has increased fan following!! Interviews are important otherwise why do the channel, PH and actors do it? Why does Aish jump in every interview? Its is important to let people have their dues, audience is giving it, but co-stars are not!

It wasn't just a particular scene, the actions of Pakhi of making sure the mother leaves and the wife leaves, but she stays to take care after Virat clearly told her that he loves Sai is worse than sexual harassment and its clear to me. An unconcious man who told her that he doesn't want to eat by her hands and stays away, but his woman drives other woman who should have been there rightfully to be there around his not fully dressed body is filthy. If a man had done this to woman it would have been worse than sexual harassment.

Having said all this and disagreeing with your point of view, I still respect it. I hope we continue to discuss all the topics even if we disagree.

They are good colleagues and absolute professional on onscreen. We won’t have gotten Sairat otherwise. At the same time there’s no need for a narrative as to they are some sort of great friends. The partiality is clear interms of SM. Why is there so much difficulty to accept it? People are hesitant to accept it? Peple are hesitant and then would hate on Aishwarya by hyping a non existent bond. I have seen this on SM myself. Don’t come at me. Aishwarya do gets hate because shes is Neils fiancé. Eg- the time she posted a pic where she was seen holding Neils hand everybody bashed her badly. Neil did the same recently and nobody cares. That’s hypocrisy. Either call out none or both

And no one doesn’t have to post on SM to show friendship but its basic courtesy to acknowledge the posts at least. Seriously I don’t understand why ppl hype a non existent bond. Stop fooling yourselves. They are professionals but if they were such good friends we wouldn’t have been deprived of BTS. Its funny how people vouch for a bond.

As long as work gets done onscreen we shouldn’t care about offscreen. Also nobody said Neil and Ayesha are enemies or something. Please don’t misquote. This is what I felt. Each one entitled to own views

I wish people understood the difference between Sai and Ayesha. Just like us, actors can have their opinion about the reel characters. In the interview, they spoke about Sai, not Ayesha, and please stop expecting everyone to sing praises of Sai. It has become a norm in the FD, bashing Virat is considered cool but a word should not be said against Sai.

Coming to Ayesha it's a joke when I see people making her a victim. She is getting the most screen space, good dialogue, and characterization, and yet her certain fans cannot stop crying about how she isn't given her dues. The worst part is they have to drag the offscreen equations in every discussion and get the topic closed. Please open a venting thread instead. They expect everything to revolve around her. If she is inactive on the SM then blame Neil. They don't even trust her judgment but keeping making stories about how she is mistreated. She is an adult and please respect her opinions and judgments. She knows better about her costars than the fans.

I have stopped myself from responding to SM dramas but it's getting too much to handle now. Please don't bring offscreen dynamics in every thread.

If Neil wanted to dictate the channel he would have tried to get his characterization fixed and he would have refused to enact romantic scenes with Ayesha. Many actors in the past have done it and their career wasn't affected. I don't care what Aish does in her private IG account but if she was insecure about her relationship with Neil then she would try to stop her fiance from enacting close scenes but nothing of that sort is happening here. Let's enjoy Sairat and not get confused between reel and real characters.

I noticed one thing, after the kissing drama Neil has changed. In the holi week, he didn't share any personal pics with Aish in their costumes or any stories of them. He only prompted Sairat but why did the guy get in return? People boycotted him on Twitter and asked for his replacement. it feels like he adopted someone else style and realized no matter what he does he will be bashed.

Funny how Neil becomes a victim everywhere. I have called him out for his offscreen SM activities. He was wrong and there’s no harm in accepting it. Done that with Aish too

Badmouthing Sai- There’s a difference between badmouthing a ckt( that too positive one) and giving perspective. Both Neil and Aish bashed Sai’s ckt unnecessarily

Ayesha offscreen- No doubt she gets her dues but unlike most ITV couples she doesn’t even get to promote her show freely/ share IV’s. Nothing wrong in saying that. Definitely that’s a extension of offscreen and nothing wrong in saying that. Please that doesn’t diminish the stature of actors in anyway if you call them out. His deliberate inactivity with SM is so stark. If fans who are invested wants to point it out, why should they be silenced. They have every right to. Also celebs don’t even care for our existence. The defense is so lame. There’s nothing wrong in accepting offscreen is a mess because of the actors. Ayesha did try to promote initially after a point she too stopped. I blame her too but Neil has been inactive eternally. Fans can rant about it. Its visible. He doesn’t get bashed unnecessarily. He gets rightly called out that too valid reasons like that Pakhi story, Virats inner tumroil wtc. I don’t understand the compulsive defence for him & then ppl bring in Ayesha to the eq and gets her bashed too. Worse now he is a victim. Ugh please he was called out for good reasons. If we are talking about unnecessary hate every actor gets it. Ayesha gets so many bad comments from real life couple too. Depends on how they deal with it. Some turn victims other show grace. Neil fans gets unnecessarily defensive and then blame everyone else in the process. I am someone who started watching the show for him ans I have appreciated him in Gulaal too but his offscreen activity was disappointing here. Again I value and respect him as an actor.

It's funny how saying something in defence means he is made into a victim. As long as he is bashed and held responsible for others actions then its fine but anything said in his defence brings so much uproar.

You can understand for some people actor=character.

For me Neil and Ayesha is different from Virat and Sai and I don't care whatever they do in their real life as much as it doesn't affect the reel.
