We all have one thing that brings out the worst in us, for Patralekha its being in love with Virat that brings out the worst of her characteristics.

If written properly and had a better actress played the role, Pakhi would have been a wonderful grey character. Today we got a glimpse of her characteristic other than plain jealousy and obsession. She was clearly moved by Sai's words about her parents and her pain of being an orphan. If Virat had kept quite she might have even considered Sai's suggestion. But the moment Virat gave importance to Sai, all the care and concern vanished from Pakhi's side. Pakhi really need to let go off her obsession with Virat for her sanity. But since the creatives need a villain, Pakhi's character is not going to see any growth for a long time. Also the actress' limited capabilities are not helping either.

I think Virat could also see that she was affected and she didn't seem to mind his closeness and his flirting which is an encouraging sign. But its strange that Sai didnt get an inkling of how close Virat was to her and how pp construed it as a "private moment" . I guess they want to show Sai as innocent and naive but she can surely feel his presence near her face, his breath on her and his scent. Its impossible to even with eyes closed not feel someone standing that close to you. But logic ko maaro goli. Episode was awesome!!! ♥️♥️♥️♥️

This one will get them to trp top.

The Sairat scenes of this episode were special! Even Sai's terrible make up couldn't ruin how beautiful this episode turned out!

Although i do want to raise a question on why they would do such terrible makeup for such an important episode and such crucial scenes?! Is it deliberate or are these people genuinely hopeless. I think Ayesha should take these things up herself in future....

@bold I have the same question

How could they not show her the way last time she looked when she was drying her hair?

Even the night dress, why couldn’t they choose some other one like the one she wore when she had put Alta on her feet or when she got him gift or when she had used danda ram or even the yellow one? It wasn’t just the 200th episode, it was also an episode where he was confessing to her even if it was in his mind, was an episode where he was trying to kiss her. I am disappointed that they didn’t pay attention or they didn’t take efforts at all to pick the right costume and to pay more details on her make up.

When you have asked deliberate, why would they want to make it deliberate? I didn’t catch that 🤔? You have something in mind?

I too loved the episode. SaiRat moments were an absolute treat. Virat turning Sai and eating the ladoo was so romantic ❤️ and sensuous. I guess if Nautankilekha had not played spoilsport we would have definitely got a kiss from Virat.

Didn't Pakhi Didi went to give Virat his medicines because Sai ko toh kuch yaad nahi rehta. She wanted to show her "concern" and "care" for Virat aur room mein jaate she was talking about bank nominee. What about the medicine Didi? Aise kaise Virat will see your care for him? 😳 Koi sense tha Didi ke personal kaam ka? 🤓

Why does Didi comes as this person who perhaps is living in parallel universe where Virat is her husband and is cheating on her with Sai and she has the right to be upset and mad at him? Her dialogues like, "Tum meri itni choti si help bhi ab nahi karna chahte." Didi, you asking him to be bank nominee despite having your parents. Like Sai said, koi unse zyda kaise important ho sakta hai?

I don't know what to do of Didi now. Like, she seems like those people who don't wanna open their eyes and see it's morning already. I read once, "you can never wake up a person who is pretending to sleep."

I liked all three while they had the interaction about parents.. Loved how Sai is so considerate towards Patralekha when she wants her to understand something..

Watched the episode again after reading this part of your analysis. Totally elevated this episode even higher. To my mind this is the first time writers have shown the human side of Pakhi. Somehow I always wanted to believe what the PH has forever been insisting on - that Pakhi is a grey character. But they have not done anything to build the character as such. Today's episode proved that writers have it in them to write compelling stuff, but are too lazy.

We all have one thing that brings out the worst in us, for Patralekha its being in love with Virat that brings out the worst of her characteristics. Aishwarya was also okay, when she understood, Sai had no clue about the kiss coming in, so she knows that its just Virat who is love, Virat's reaction to it gave it away.. Patralekha , if portrayed properly would have been my favourite character. She is so perceptive and yet so obtuse at the same time. She understands Virat's emotions towards Sai even before he is there and is completely unobservant towards the fact that it doesnt make any sense for her to make Virat her nominee, when she has her parents with her..Like Sai said no one should come before your parents, how right she is there.. And that also establishes the fact that Sai would always want Virat to keep his Aai baba above her, while Patralekha would have wanted herself to be his first priority.

I have no clue, even after witnessing the almost confession of Patralekha, why is Virat so unobservant and clueless about what she wants.. He should have spoken more.

I'm unable to understand Virat's cluelessness. Or is he really clueless? When Virat suggests to add Samrat as nominee there was a very telling look he gave Pakhi - lasted for like half a second. Totally seemed like he was giving a message - Samrat is your husband, don't expect anything from me. Somehow, I don't believe he is clueless - he has observed but choosing to act like an ostrich. I am 100% sure, Virat has a fair amount of guilt. Still, what he means to accomplish by this show of ignorance is beyond me. I would love to know what the writers are attempting here - it would be helpful if they gave us a hint.

I loved Ayesha's acting when she mentioned ye that aapka jaruri kaam and her use of hands to donate quotation mark..

Its so weird and apathy from Virat's side, when Sai understands why Patralekha is crying and Virat doesnt. Sai was so perceptive there, she was hurt for Pakhi and also hurt for herself. Sai believes Virat maintains his distance from Pakhi, because he respect both the marriages and he himself is in love with Pakhi.

It was a great episode, makers tried to give us an episode surrounding around The three , however would have loved to see a glimpse of all family members.. I would have loved the episode more, if Patralekha was portrayed by a good actor.. What an impactful episode it would have been.. We get to know in the end that Patralekha is sad, because they show a teardrop, imagine a woman who has agony , tears of rejection written in her eyes, who would not feel bad for this woman.. She is miserable and she does not know, that this love / this obsession that she is carrying around is turning her into a horrible and to some extent loose character woman , and that is something to feel pity about.

Agree. This episode might have been even better than what it was if Pakhi was portrayed by a masterful performer.

Special Mention

I liked Neil ..Yes a lot in today's episode.. .. No two ways about it.. But since have not seen much mention about Ayesha's acting today on a very special day and for a very special episode.. I would like to talk about that..

ITV has always been about hyperventilating, deep breathings almost akin to Asthama and a bit of shivering when it comes to ladies portraying romance.. Very rarely we have a lady, anticapting a kiss from the man with eyes open, looking deep in his eyes, shy and yet ready for it. Ayesha portrayed it all so well..No overacting and no deep breaths..all natural.. Like how a girl anticipates the first kiss of her life, from the man who she wants to be kissed by forever..

Ayesha was also very good today during her confrontation with Pakhi.. including her straight faced replied and her focussing on personal with use of fingers to denote quote.. Also since I dont see many have noticed it, would like to bring it here, how she portrayed the hurt Sai felt for Pakhi, when she left and Virat was clueless about why she was crying..It was an expression of a second and yet she very well portrayed what she felt.. The girl is new and I dont expect her to do much, but then she is improving leaps and bounds.. She was natural as it can be in being the shy Sai.. smiley42

Ayesha is just awesome. I too loved her today. No OTT reactions - just subtle, natural mix of shyness and anticipation in romance scenes. Confrontation scenes with Pakhi were very well done too. If she continues to learn, she has the potential to beat industry stalwarts.

A beautiful analysis matching a beautiful episode 👏

You see, Virat chooses to be clueless about Patralekha in front of Sai and his family.. If once he could tell her, how Pakhi having such hopes from him is not correct, his character would not come across dumb in this case..

COming to Patralekha, she has a human side, she is selfish yes..but she does have a human side and she fails to show it, because like I keep repeating , the actor is not good at it.. When Sai's father died and Virat was coming back from GC, she did ask him wo becahri ab kya karegi.. Then when there is a greh pravesh, she did request Kaku to let her in, she did not feel great about being Sai insulted there..DUring Alta episode when Ashwini is insulted by the ghar ke ache bade, she was feeling bad for her.. When she sees gifts in Devi's hand for the first time , she feels good and just recently she was happy for Devi.. She has a certain degree of good ness in her, which gets replaced by anger, jealousy, insecurity, insensitivity, irrationality, delusions meanness the moment she realises Sai is being appreciated by Virat for it. Her obsession for Virat and Virat's love for Sai brings out the worst in her..The worst where even her parents are not important to her, someone's life, their love, their children is not important to her.. Someone's self respect is not important to her.. She is certainly a grey character...the shade of grey turns darker the moment Virat gives his attention to Sai.. Patralekha is perceptive and yet obtuse, she is manipulative and yet irrational, she is delusional, she is also a bit mentally not fine, she is selfish and also a hypocrite.. She has a lot shades to showcase and both the actors and to some extent creatives have failed to showcase..

Thankyou for appreciating my post❤️.. I have been not making many these days.. But today decided to as I had some time.

@bold He did tell Pakhi that her request was weird, did he not? Problem is he was not insistent and firm. I guess it comes from his guilt. Somewhere he feels himself partly responsible for Pakhi's condition.

Oh yeah...there were those moments that showed Pakhi's humanity. Considering that Pakhi is the third lead, her POV, her motivations and her complexity should have been better developed instead of being limited to such blink-and-miss moments. Aishwarya may/may not have given a better performance if Pakhi's characterization had been developed well, but atleast it would have been interesting for the audience to see Pakhi as more than just a third wheel. I don't think the actress herself understands the character.

Thankyou for appreciating my post❤️.. I have been not making many these days.. But today decided to as I had some time.

Is it just me or did Ayesha's North Indian ways come across when she said "apka dabba leke jaa rahi hoon"; the accent and the way it was done was SOOOOO Delhi vibes.

I guess I understand Virat there.. now.. It just came in my mind that , because of the good man that he is, he might as well think that Patralekha having feelings for him , even now should not be known to anyone in the family, not even Sai, because that would bring a wrong impression on anyone.. Patralekha is married and having feelings for someone else and confessing it to him , is something that would tarnish her image in the house and also make people question her character. He would not want that, so he just wants her to understand things and move ahead in life..He would not want things like such to be out in open. However since he fails to see Sai's jealousy with respect to Patralekha, he does not understand it would be better if he confides into Sai , whatever happened here when she was not around.

About Aishwarya and her portrayal, she is sometimes bad beyond script..For instance everytime she sees Virat with Sai, she expresses shock, while before it was okay for her to express shock everytime she saw a moment between the two, but now that he has confessed his love for her, told her Sai would always come first , instead of emoting hurt/anger/betrayal she expresses shock..

She knows Mohit is in Sai's favour, and yet everytime Mohit speaks for Sai or does something for her she emotes shock.. with a Mohit on her lips..

She has nothing, no relationship established with Pulkit and yet when Pulkit sides Sai, she expresses shock..

Thats why I say, script could be fine at times, but her portrayal is really bad... and confusing.. Mostly when she gets long dialogues , she speaks them all in one breath.. When she has to be angry ...she screams at a very high pitch..like the recent promo and she scrunches her eyebrows.. SHe has such beautiful eyes and is a classical dancer but makes no use of these attributes, when it comes to acting.. She contorts her face in anger and that is really weird to watch at times..

I have grown up doing nukkad natak and a bit of theatre.. If Patralekha was played better, today I would have sympathised with both Pakhi and Sai.. I would have been love with both these characters.. Virat being the third in the list.. We cant ignore the fact that she has been led on wrongly by Virat for a good duration of time..
