Virat's expressions when Ashwini says that even she has rights and self respect and needs and wants....I sometimes feel Sai needs to look at him when either Ashwini is having a moment or when Ashwini and Sai are having their mother - daughter crying situations....

In those moments, Virat's expressions say EVERYTHING

The only part where I feel for him is how he fell in love with Pakhi but couldn’t have her and went through the heartbreak of having to watch her get married to his brother instead, pretty sure that wasn’t easy.

Totally loved all the analysis on Virat's character. .. Virat as a character is something badly written tbh, a bit better than his counter parts. His father never loved him, he's a trophy son for sure. I remember how Ninad was telling he's son because he's successful. Same Ninad blamed Ashwini if Virat disobeyed. They all wanted him to become a Chavan man, an MCP that's why whenever he tried to cross the line with Sai, they never discouraged rather encouraged him. But as Sai told, "He won't do anything wrong as he's Ashwini's son ". Ashwini imbibed good values on him, made him humane not a Chavan man. In this house only 2 persons love him unconditionally, Aai and Samrat. For other Chavans the love comes with condition, and Mohit was jealous of his brother. He wanted to instigate the family by sharing the marriage news. That's a different topic. Ashwini told Sai that Virat always does for others, never does anything for himself. She need to dig out his feelings/words from his heart because he never shows that feeling..

With Sai, Virat is becoming himself, he now expresses his emotions, laughs, cries, which he used to do earlier, still not heartily. Only with the time with Aai, he was happy. With Sai, he does all the activities he might have been missed earlier. Like eating street foods, enjoying moments with each other, be open to everyone. Yes he's insecure of Sai, because of that deal part, the onus lies on him to clear the deal part so that he feels secure at that point. He wants to be loved and cared unconditionally because all the loved except his Aai's and Jeeva's he got came with a condition. He love is unconditional in nature , he sacrificed his love for his brother without thinking twice and now he's giving space to Sai and letting her to take the decision . He chose his family over his apparent love (whatever), sacrificed his whole life, got married in an unforeseen circumstances. Still he didn't stop being a good friend to his ex, a better Husband to his deal wife, a good son to his family.

Yes he has his own share of faults but that's make him humanely. One thing he has Which is rare nowadays that he doesn't blame shift. Never in the separation track he ever said Iike it was Sai's faults too, it was for his family that he has to throw Sai out. He told he's responsible Along with his family, for him Sai has to suffer, for him Sai's education had problems. That's what makes him a bit better.

About verbal inexpressive nature, I don't consider as this as a flaw. Because many people in this world including me has this problem. I'm introvert like him. Don't even want to type also😆. His fault was he was very vocal about his promise to Sai but he wanted to enter into the relationship in an honest way, don't want to keep Sai in dark, that's why he told about the committed part. He don't want his relationship to be based on a lie. Now he couldn't express what he feels, the problem lies here.

Another toxic trait of Virat which I also share is toxic anger trait. Like Virat I also get mad whenever I'm angry and is riled up soon. We always think, we won't react to certain things, but the toxic trait don't stop us from reacting that's where the problem lies . He needs to check on his anger, control it but as situation comes,he forgets it. All his resolves break, and he reacts violently.

Virat as a character isn't really a one dimensional one, it's more humanely which I like. There are some moments when I feel bad for him, but there are some moments when I want to break his head 😆
