Sai is a little nosy, but her meddling is always well intentioned and comes from a place of love, good wishes and wanting the best for people around her especially Devi/aai/mohit/shivani/virat- the 5 people she has formed a bond with. And because she is naive, idealistic and innocent, despite her anger/disregard/contempt for pp, ninad, bk, omi, sonali, karishma she does not actually hate them. Infact if they are ever in trouble she will help because she knows they are important to the 5 other people she does consider her family. So indirectly she is bound to care for them too....
Virat has come to love how selflessly she cares for people and he likes her meddling. One- because he appreciates how she cares so much and goes to sych great lengths for people that are close to her and secondly when she meddles in his family members matters, it makes her more and more a part of the family. As much as she tries to separate herself from things, she actually gets more integrated into his family and that makes Virat happy because shes his wife. So seeing his family also recognize her goodness, kindness, smart wits makes him happy. Because if his family also starts liking her then eventually she will never leave.
If Sai had never meddled in anything, virat may not have realized his feelings for her so quickly. Its refreshing and attractive for him to see someone who challenges the status quo and changes things for the better. Yes in the process theres a little drama but looking at these people drama toh pahle bhi hua hoga but onesided where people like aai/mohit /shivani and devi bore the brunt of it and he was stuck in between playing peacemaker or was away completely oblivious to what happened behind his back.
He is grateful to Sai that he is seeing his mother open up and talk about her feelings...he has learnt how ashwini was not allowed to complete her education, how ashwini has finally talked about how nice it is to get the respect she deserves...
It is her "ziddiness" , "meddling"that makes Virat love her because he is able to see her true intentions. He sees how she has no malice whatsoever and doesn't "interfere" to deliberately create problems unlike pp and she is not two faced or inconsistent. She stays true to her core values and she is genuinely idealistic, insaaf pasand and outspoken. She doesn't believe in sitting quietly letting things happen even if it doesn't directly concern her. And opposites attract. Virat also does believe in the same things as Sai- but his approach is a little different. So thats why he loves Sai- coz their core ideals/values are the same but their approaches to meet those ends are different. They nicely balance each other though. She is the fire, he is the mix of wind/water/earth to kind of balance that out. But sometimes they flip too. When really pushed, Virat can be the fire and Sai can transfom into the cooling forces too.
Virats own words to pakhi the other day in his room has the answer
People change their opinion and emotions about a person by knowing them better! Virat always liked sai as a person. Living close to her enabled him to see how good a person she is.. even without her interfering anything in his family matters like helping mohit or Shivani bua or tai , he would have realized she is a good person and liked her and slowly fell in love with her.
but sai helping his family has accelerated the process and he fell head over heals for her. He realized sooner that she is the only one.
I can't answer in yes or no, because even before she didi what she did for his family, he was fallen and attracted to her, that's because of her character, the way she stood for her aaba even if it mean to going against him, for keeping herself in danger for saving pari, for loving his mother and tai, so ya, he did fall for her even before family issues started, and him want to have dinner with her, taking her to nag nadhi are proofs for that.
My answer is yes. If sai hadn't done all that for his family he may have fallen in love with her even faster🤣
Sai is one of a kind character. She doesn't think before she do anything. If she feels its right then to hell with everyone else. Although she has good intentions behind it and it all ends well but her acts do irritate the hell out of everyone including virat.😆
Virat would have gradually realised sai's personality, her well intensions towards his family, the spark in her,her wittiness ans he would have been attractes to her anyways.
Soin my opinion if sai hadnt pull any of her stunts then also virat would have fallen in love with her and much faster.
Just think of firebrand brash argumentative sometimes rude irreverent over-confident Sai minus the caring warm do-gooder problem-solver aspects - would she have been loveable? Even likeable? It is because of this brash meets mush, coconut personality that she is such an interesting & loveable character & that is what attracted Virat - not just after marriage in CN - right from GC days. Think garlanding rudeness and sacrifice for Pari. That personality came out very strongly in all she did for his family after she came to CN & that is what floored Virat.
Instead if she had minded her own business only her brashness would hv been seen & that is very putting off, unlikely Virat wld have fallen for it.
Sai won't be sai if she stood silently when shivani bua is abused by those women, when kaku took food plate from mohit, when aai is wronged, when she know about devi and pulkit, when virat is wrongly accused for forcefully marrying her.. Its her basic character trait.. She always stand up for the person she loves and can fight with entire world for them.. Its evident from gc days itself..

This is excellent and different perspective, he was very much in love with Pakhi even when Sai did all these and even after they came to CN. He admitted it himself with pyaar dosti and sabse pyaari cheez

Didn’t he compliment her on their first night that she is someone who has love for everyone but her antics are ajeeb! I think he observed before their marriage that she is a good person. Even though he had whatever love for pakhi, it would not have sustained in front of Sai’s inherent goodness. Virat as a good person himself could have easily recognized the goodness behind her harsh and rude behavior...
He didnt love pp in GC or ever at all- he only thought he did. The pyaari cheez stuff was all slip ups which will haunt him because Sai will not forget easily. She is insecure and will use those references to pp as evidence of his " feelings" for pp and fight her heart.
But yes without the good intentions, warm heart and the quick thinking only brashness, meddling would not be likeable. So obviously like everyone she has negative traits too and not everyone can see her true motives and saaf dil.
It is Sais firebrand personality balanced by her innocence, golden heart and warmth that makes her lovable.
But virat even in GC could see her saaf dil. I think garlanding time it was actually virst that was rude. Keeping his phone on loud and answering it twice while still standing on stage was more rude than the way he was garlanded. If I were Sai n the chief guest was taking phone call on stage, I'd be rolling my eyes too.
And despite the rudeness of how Sai talked to him in GC about her dad's VRS when he realized why she was projecting her fear/anxiety as anger on him and saw how selfless she was about pari and how attached she is to her dad he was unconsciously drawn to it. He realized that she wasnt just an angry rude girl. He saw how she was eith her dad- concerned, taking care of hik, bossing him around, "mothering" him. He saw how bravely she had dealt with the jagtap problem for 3 years. KJ told him how she had been harassed for 3 years! And that affected virat. That gravitation is why he could not stop himself from visiting her in safe house. Unlike Sai whose first "meeting" with virat was keechad splashing n garlanding, virats first knowledge of Sai is when he hears she is the state topper. He is impressed with her even before meeting her. He has always had a connection with Sai since GC. Pride at her achievements, concern and now over time seeing her in his life n home rightfully meddling in his business makes him love her!
