I'm amazed that after everything the d's/Aru still think Abhi and Ankita will step up and look after the family when Aru leaves! Abhi can't make a decision even if his life depended on it. And in my opinion, Aru and Ani are largely to blame for his indecisiveness. Also, the night when Abhi-Anagha are having a conversation and Sanjana then Aru walk in on them, Abhi says that it won't be practical for him to take responsibility of the house with him being busy with his work.
On the contrary, I think Ankita's idea of her and Abhi living seperately might do Abhi good. He'll have no other option but to fend for himself and make those difficult decisions. I completely see where Ankita and her mother comes from with regards to their reservations about this family; their somewhat outdated values and false pride.
That reminds me, I loved the episode wherein Ankita's parents come to meet the d's again upon her insistence. Ankita's mother raised some very valid arguments.
As you may have guessed I find the 'villains' of the show more interesting than the other characters.😆
Overall, I think this track is disheartening because we began to see some growth in Abhi before this.
Looking back though, I think the only reason why Abhi insisted on marrying Anagha was to defy his father who he is still disappointed with.
Anagha is the Aru to his Ani. She's the ideal women as opposed to Sanjana/Ankita.
Aru's comparison between Anagha and Ankita also influences Abhi's decision here.
Oh I have a full analysis on Abhi's character which I won't bore everyone with. He's quite an interesting one. The makers have spent quite some time giving him an arc.
The creative decisions right now depend a lot on the whole covid situation too which is why things might seem a little jarring. It's happening with a lot of shows.
Yet another dumb episode that I absolutely regret watching. What a dysfunctional family! Where do you find father and his girlfriend under the same roof in a middle class family?
they were shown to be back from a jog early morning and Sanjana is about to enter the kitchen with her shoes on, when Kanchan scolds her for doing that. Where do you find son and his girlfriend staying with his family and her BF flirting with her in front of all the elders in his family? 😡Today Gauri woke up and came home with bag full of veggies. Aru was in tears and again the same melodrama of 'take care of my son and my family.' 😡
One good scene and dialogues between Yash, ruddha and Ankita.
Pre-cap - Ankita tells Abhi that they shouldn't be the ones taking care of Kanchan, Appa and Isha. And that moron Aru says that she will take care of them or something like that.
