Sony shows usually more progressive shows usually. I'm not following another show right now, but I've seen a lot online. I'm not 💯 sure if these shows have any disgusting stuff, (as far as I saw some clips/promos etc online they were fine).

Shaurya aur anokhi ki kahani

Pandya store (not sure how regressvive/progressive it is)

Ishq par zor nahi

Story 9 months ki (promo was very progressive for ITV standard)

Madam Sir

Barrister Babu(not 💯 sure though)

Udaariyan (also not sure)

Only ones of all of these I watch/ed were Kyun uthe dil chor aye - turned into rubbish after partition with a fake marriage with an abusive prince. Before that it was really good

Story 9 months ki - way beyond my expectations as i was put off by the promo. Finished now but was an amazing show with such good & realistic characters on the whole. The writing was best i saw on ITV. The male lead was a gem (partly butchered after leap but still not nasty) female lead was the boss & also very likeable. Beautiful poetry & funny too. Its showing again these days. It ended abruptly Due to virus but one of the key writers also passed away due to covid so may have been due to that. But definitely still worth a watch.

Ish pe zor nahin - liking it so far despite Gul Khan. Again heroine is likeable. Hero starts off irritating but improves not as chauvinistic as he initially seems - a gentleman & so far seems actually quite sweet (so far)

Qubool hai season1 initial 200 episodes - ( 6/10 stars - OK minus ott drama)

Swaragini - (6/10 stars)

Diya aur baati initial 400 episodes - (8/10 stars )

But I want to know if there are any current shows that have progressive story, good acting and nice characterization and entertainment. If it's realistic, sone pe suhaga. I was sitting with my mother and she was watching a serial and though the lead was feeling sorry and crying for his actions, when my mother told me what he did, I was disgusted. Yes. Disgusted. I'm not much familiar with many shows right now. Do you guys have any suggestions🤗

I just finished KRPKAB season 1 & 2 on youtube. You can give it a try. Nice acting, realistic plots, amazing ost and bgm, subtle clothing, and a sizzling couple.

Season 3 is soon going to air on sony on public demand. And mostly it is 8-9 pm slot. Might give a tough competition to our show.

The whole maang bharo scene was so OTT.. I just saw a clip on insta.. Overacting bhaisahab.. And also that back hug looked like he is chocking her...

It's better than most shows. Haven't watched since they aired partition violence episode.

Tamana, Dehleez and Mt Everest.. one of the bests from SP.. You know few shows that justify ..SOCH NAYI..

The guy though not a great actor looks really entertaining when he speaks Hindi..
