She's a good writer but the guy who the album is about is a much superior songwriter and singer imo. Unfortunately he is facing a lot of flak and blame for being the guy who apparently "broke Liv's heart".

Totally 😆 And that's Olivia's demographic!

I am not done hearing the whole thing but:

I've been following Liv long before drivers license came out. I enjoyed the ballads she wrote for Disney in 2019 so I was pretty pumped for her music. I must be one of the older ones who knows her from HSMTMTS 😆

She's is a good songwriter, but the entire album is about her breakup and that can get exhausting, specially coz it gives more teen angst vibes and doesn't resonate to me (and I'm just a few of years older than you). Like Taylor Swift's "Teardrops on my Guitar" tugs the heartstrings till date.

Another thing that really bothered me is how this "guy" in the album gets bashed in every song...and then there's 'Hope you're okay' to end it maturely. But he got bashed for some 10 songs before that, even though only the first stanza seems to be about him but still!!! 😆

All in all, I think she did much better songwriting with Joshua...A Moment In Love is one of the best love songs I have heard in a while and even though its about high school students it gave me the feels 😆 You have to hear it really!

Now I can only hope Josh gets a fair chance too and doesn't fall victim to the cancel culture coz of supposedly being the guy SOUR is about. He is supremely talented and spoke about struggling with his sexuality too...so its pretty shallow to blame him for everything!

Sorry couldn't help myself, was overloaded with creative juices 😆 This chapter has a lot of NC 17 stuff, even I got very hot writing it ☺️😆 At the end of the day its a romance story so there will be romance 😆

But there are definitely some major plot developments so don't skip anything!

Chapter 7

The water was warm, comforting when it hit my skin. But not as comforting as Bucky’s presence. Yet I started at the floor, unable to look at him. Because it was at this moment that I realised my state of undress.

‘Hey,’ he murmured. ‘I can leave and give you privacy. Wait in the bedroom.’

Mustering the courage, I look up. My breath hitched, he looked broken and lost. The pain in his reddened eyes made my heart ache. I knew he considered all of this to be his fault. Yet he kept a smile on his face.

Slowly, I traced my fingers along his shoulders, pushing him under the water, ‘You’re not going anywhere.’ I stared into his eyes, undoing his battle suit pants, kicking them out of the shower, leaving him in his boxers.

He grinned and kissed me, lifting me to his height. I grinned against his lips and ran my fingers through his hair. We both needed a lot more, more closeness and intimacy, but right now I knew he was vulnerable. I could deal with what happened to me, push it in the back of my head and let it turn into a distant memory. But nothing was more important that Bucky and his happiness. I know he would never forget, still it was important for me to show him exactly how I felt.

Standing on my feet again, I grabbed a bottle of body wash. I poured some of the product on my loofah and began to wash him up, my free hand, stroking his back. I could feel his eyes on me, the intensity and love with which he was looking at me and in normal circumstances I would have become a pile of blushing mush. But right now, I was in charge.

I ran the loofah all over his midriff and his left arm, finally marvelling at his beauty now. All those tight shirts, vests and battle suits did no justice to how gorgeous he was. Sure I had seen him shirtless a couple of times, but never up close. This was perfect, he was perfection, battle scars included. Nothing could taint his skin or him, he was the kindest soul I knew…who tended to be a little douche-y at times (remember the Loran fiasco right?).

Getting bolder, I ran my free hand everywhere I had washed him, inciting a groan from him. ‘There a problem?’ I asked him innocently.

‘On the contrary.’ His raspy voice sent chills down my spine. Adamant to not get distracted, I turned him around, washing his back, watching the muscles ripple in awe. Unable to control myself, I started to kiss the skin there after washing off the soap. Bucky had grabbed the shower’s door and I could sense he was trying to stop himself from going fast.

‘Darling?’ I turned him around. ‘May I?’ I ran a finger at the place where the metal arm met his skin. He took a sharp breath and nodded hesitantly. Without taking my eyes off his face, I planted a kiss on the juncture where his skin ended and the arm began. I saw Bucky’s expression of pleasant surprise and mild bewilderment turn into intense love while I peppered kisses along this area. ‘You are beautiful,’ I murmured, making him blush. ‘You are fu**ing beautiful.’

‘And incredibly sexy. Don’t let anyone tell you anything else, James.’

I found myself against a wall and his mouth on mine before I could say anything else. Bucky grabbed my left thigh, hitching it around his waist. We both moaned at the mutual friction we created. ‘‘F**k I love you,’ he said against my skin, letting me breathe and moving down my neck. My fingers found his hair as he explored my neck and collarbones, his hand cupping my butt. This entire feeling and emotion was…wild. I had never experienced any kind of touching and Bucky was playing me like an instrument. ‘You are the strongest, sexiest, most beautiful woman I’ve ever laid my eyes on.’ His words were causing me to let out louder moans. ‘I know, darling, I know what you want. And we’ll get there. But first…’

He continued his ministrations until I was whimpering his name out. Breaking the cloud of lust, he took the shower gel and said very quietly, ‘Where Gauri…’

Uneasiness filled me as I remembered the events that happened earlier. ‘Here…’ I pointed to my cleavage. ‘Here…’ Over my bra-clad breasts. ‘Here…’ The entire length of my torso and abs. ‘And here…’ I pointed hesitantly at my crotch.

Bucky kissed my forehead and spread the gel everywhere, not removing my undergarments. ‘I’ll take it all away, darling…I am here for you.’ Even though I know it is not physically possible but I could feel Noah’s imprints come off. Bucky gentle touches were really taking away the disgust and revulsion I felt with regards to my own body. Just his fingers, his hands. He was being way too respectful and under control, making my heart swell with amounts of love I did not know I was capable of feeling.

But what struck the most was the fact how much we both took care of each other and the fears we had instilled over the last few hours. Every bit of the love was mutual and intense.

He continued to run his hands everywhere and I mimicked him. ‘Bucky…please.’ I whispered.

‘Sshhh doll,’ he kissed me. ‘Lets turn off the water okay?’

‘Wait!’

‘What?’ He looked confused at the sight of me rummaging through the shower shelf.

‘Aah!’ I said triumphantly.

‘Face wash, seriously?’ He burst out laughing.

‘Hey!’ I foamed up some on my palms. ‘My man deserves the best…and there’s bacteria on your face.’

He let me applying the lathered product on his face, closing his eyes, ‘And my girlfriend is amazing.’

‘So I am your girlfriend,’ I said shyly, indicating him to wash off the lather while applying a fresh pump of product on my face.

‘Of course you are doll. I’m taking you on dates soon,’ he smiled at me, his ears turning pink.

‘Is my boyfriend blushing?’ I said after washing my face and turning off the water. Bucky helped me get out of the shower.

‘Mmhmm,’ I grabbed a towel and started to wipe the water off me. ‘You let me take care of you now doll, just relax.’

I closed my eyes and let him running the towel on me and my hair.

‘May I?’ I nodded, knowing what he wanted to do. He slowly wrapped the towel around me and unhooked my bra, peeling it off my skin, letting it drop on the ground.

‘How’d you do that?’ I wondered while he pulled my underwear off, leaving me completely bare below the towel.

‘Super soldier reflexes,’ he answered. ‘I want to see you on your bed for the first time.’ He watched me bite my lip with a smirk on his face when he slung another towel dangerously low around his waist. I moved closer to him, finding the waistband of his boxers through the towel and pulled it off.

‘Now we are even,’ I kissed him. He carried me to the room and set me on the bed.

‘Don’t think I am done with you yet.’ His eyes were full of adoration, turning darker with desire as he got on top of me.

I do not know how long we were in each others’ arms. All I remember is being a writhing mess as Bucky ran his fingers, hands, lips and tongue on me. Everywhere where that mangy dimwit had touched me. He was taking it all away and showing me how I deserved to be touched. I could feel the nauseating feeling dissipate as we became a mess in the sheets.

I remember being loud and not giving a damn. I remember his salacious whispers, detailing everything he wanted to do to me. I remember puling his hair, gripping his biceps, scratching his back and tugging at the satin of the sheets. And right now I was lying on my back with his face and fingers in a very intimate place, as he undid me again and again.

‘Let go for me doll.’ Was all it took for me to scream his name. Soon he kissed his way up and captured my lips with his, not a layer of fabric between us.

‘Please.’ A tear rolled down my cheek.

Bucky propped on his elbows stroking my hair, ‘Not tonight doll. Tonight was all about showing you how amazing you are.’

‘Don’t you want to?’ I was scared, thinking Noah had probably ruined something before it had even begun.

Bucky played with my hair, ‘Baby you have no idea how much I want to. But after everything you have been through tonight…I want you to feel special. And I don’t want you to think we did it only because of what happened tonight.’

‘So you want to have sex with me?’ I still questioned like an idiot.

Bucky chuckled and shook his head, ‘I’ll make love to you, Gauri…then f**k you every chance I get, I am a horny bast**d.’

I smacked him playfully and laughed with him, ‘God I am so stupid, why do I ask such questions.’

‘Its okay darling,’ he manoeuvred us so that we were under the sheets, our heads on pillows. ‘I just…I don’t want you to remember anything negative about ur first time together. And it’ll be your first ever.’

‘I love you…’ Was all I could say. I ran my fingers on his abs, watching them clench. I had not got the chance to touch him, since Bucky made it all about me tonight.

‘I have a question, Bucky said.

‘Yes?’

‘You never mentioned about your family background.’ I bit my lip in guilt and he continued, ‘I don’t care much for money but you have a lot of it. I mean this house alone must cost a lot. Then why, why would you move to New York, to Brooklyn of all places and live in a studio apartment?’

I sighed, ‘Frankly I don’t care much for money either. Yes I have a lot of it, and I still earn from my family’s company which I am saving up. But when the Blip happened, I was lost and all alone. I wanted to do something good. I had all this money and properties but no one to share it with. Which is exactly what I started doing. I helped people with housing, food, anything they needed. I was setting up distress camps in Manhattan when I met Steve and Natasha.’

Bucky waited for me to continue, ‘They saw something in me. Something good. And they saw me helping all those people. I did not need to, I could sit and enjoy the best wines and luxuries in the world but I didn’t care for it. Soon after, he recruited me.’

‘Typical Steve,’ Bucky smiled.

‘Yeah…then Natasha trained me and they saw I could help much more. Steve gave me a choice, I could be in New York and become a part of SHIELD. If not, they would still be around. Sensing the emptyness in my life, I decided to go for it and a month later they injected me with Super Soldier Serum.’

‘They always saw something in others.’

‘They did,’ I agreed. ‘And Natasha took me as a younger sister.’

‘She had always been that way, even in the Red Room.’

‘You trained her.’

‘I did, for a while.’

‘She told me…what happened…’

‘HYDRA thought it was love…but we were damaged souls trying to get out of there. Natasha had become my closest friend in Russia and I never even got a chance to reconnect after returning.’

‘You know that was also a reason why Steve left, right?’

‘I know,’ Bucky murmured. ‘He couldn’t imagine his life without her.’

‘I saw them together Bucky. They were so very happy. You know they were even planning on leaving everything behind and moving to a new country, just the two of them.’

‘Then why go back to Peggy—’

‘If he would go back to Natasha the timelines would overlap, making two Steves present and looking their same young selves, it would be chaos…his only hope was Peggy…’

‘So they were going to leave you in charge of everything?’

‘Me and Rhodey.’

‘What about your business here?’ Bucky’s confusion was understandable.

‘Obviously it was not as huge an empire as it used to be. I’d work on whatever of it was left from NYC and get the CEO salary…the position which I gave away to my father after everything came back to normal. I am more philanthropic than business-minded anyway.’

‘And he was okay with it?’

‘He cannot have a Super Soldier Avenger running his business. There are many crooks here who would try kidnap me and get hold of the serum formula like Nagel. NYC was safer, since all of you were there. Most importantly…you were there.’

‘Me?’

‘I had a crush on you so couldn’t bring myself to leave,’ I put it as simply as I could.

‘You’re not going anywhere.’ He pulled me into a hug. ‘You and me, any corner of the world, baby.’

‘How about Manhattan?’

‘What?’

‘I was looking for an apartment but did not move because you were in Brooklyn.’

‘You should’ve told me. I have a lot of HYDRA money that Fury gave me after he came back. Its rotting in my accounts and I want to put it to good use.’

‘How much are we talking?’

‘7 digits, minimum.’

‘My oh my, I did not know I had a millionaire as a boyfriend,’ I teased him.

He stroked my back with his metal arm, ‘And I did not know my girlfriend was a millionaire.’

‘You know what we could do? We could start a bunch of fast food restaurants and alongside feed the underprivileged so thats CSR and—’

‘Your father needs to know you are business minded!’

‘But we can!’ I whined, almost like a schoolgirl. ‘It would be so much fun. Imagine the jobs we could generate—’

‘Okay calm down Gauri,’ he cuddled me and moved back and forth. ‘Whatever you want okay? I am game.’

I sensed a change in the environment and sat up immediately, noticing a movement outside the balcony. ‘Hold that thought,’ I said excitedly and got out of bed, forgetting to wrap a sheet around me. ‘It is here!’

Bucky was confused for a moment and then got it guard up, picking up his glock, aiming at the movement.

‘Don’t shoot!’ I told him and pushed the curtains. The mini drone dropped a suitcase, no bigger than the size of my palm, in my hands and left. ‘Thanks!’ I yelled, knowing the drone caught that. Dancing with excitement I made my way into the room.

‘I love the view,’ Bucky commented on my state of undress, now relaxed once again, except for one place which I could very well see.

‘Yes and you can enjoy it later. First, here,’ I passed him the suitcase and got back on the bed. ‘Open it!’ I rolled my eyes at his confusion as he looked at the suitcase, then me repeatedly. ‘Urgh Bucky just press the red button!’

He did as I told him hesitantly. The suitcase enlarged in size and popped open. And inside was—

‘Oh My God…’ Bucky’s eyes were as large as saucers. ‘How did you…what…when?’

‘I had spoken to Rocket and Peter when we were on the hellicarrier. After our little incident.’

‘But in such a short time?’

‘I’ve been working on the design for months to make to foolproof. Never trust a country who hid its secrets and enjoyed advanced tech while watching the world go through catastrophe after catastrophe from the shadows.’

‘Gauri…’ Speechless Bucky was new. He always had something witty or naughty to say to me, so to actually see him gawking was an accomplishment. Until a tear rolled down his cheek. ‘Thank you…’

‘Try your new arm, Sergeant Barnes. There is no weakness in this one,’ I picked up the metal limb gently and placed it in his lap. ‘Its made from an alloy of space metals Rocket came up with, way more stronger and sturdier than Vibranium. No alien or Titan can break it,’ I remembered Thanos breaking the shield very easily.

‘You did this…for me?’ He was breathing heavily.

‘You’re my world,’ I stroked his cheek gently. ‘Now try it on for me!’ Bucky looked at me, frozen in place when I disarmed him, placing the Vibranium arm in the suitcase. Then picking up the new arm, I gently pressed it into the armhole, where it fit painlessly. ‘Just give it a second to calibrate.’

But a second was too much to ask for apparently because I was flat on my back with Bucky kissing me everywhere in sheer happiness. ‘I love you! I love you!’ He screamed and laughed loudly. I let him show his elation, knowing exactly the emotions he was feeling.

‘You’re truly free now, James,’ I smiled at him. ‘No one can stop you from being you.’

‘You’re my home,’ he said earnestly.

‘And you’re my world,’ I repeated myself. ‘Sorry for not telling you earlier about this, I was trying to surprise you. Besides I wasn’t sure if it would work because this arm is not only a weapon, but it works more human-like too.’

‘How so?’

‘Well, its strong and very deadly when you’re in fights, but its as dangerous as you want it to be. And when you’re not on duty, its gentle and human-like.’

‘Wow,’ he looked at the shine, grazing his fingers over it. ‘When you say human-like…can it do…things?’

‘Well yeah you can—oh,’ I stopped realising what his words meant. ‘James?’

‘Yes?’ His eyes were clouding with lust and I could feel my sheets getting ruined because of me.

‘What are you doing?’

He pulled me on him, his mouth centimetres away from my breasts, ‘Thanking you.’
