Jodhaa Akbar actually built those giantic sets and hired thousands of real people to shoot scenes and war sequences, unlike Bajirao and Padmavat which relied heavily on CGI and VFX. It is probably why these two movies look so similar in terms of framing and cinematography.


Even storyline wise, they cannot be compared with Jodhaa Akbar, which is an absolute masterpiece. That music, that cast and the feels. Sorry but SLB tried and failed.

Jodhaa Akbar without an iota of doubt ❤️ I like SLB movies but Bajirao and Padmaavat don't hold a candle in front of JA imo.
