I really hope it comes out that Ishqi not Sonu wrote that poem - at least to Ahaan. And I really need to move past Savitri just hiding and crying and scared - the only purpose was for her to see how much her kids have been brainwashed against her, which has happened so many times already.

I genuinely feel bad for Rhea - I mean Karthik has pointed this out before she was introduced to the family that Ahaan is being unfair to her by lying about his real feelings. I do hope she stays a positive character - there are enough negative ppl currently on the show: Mayank (and his loser druggie friends), Dadi, Sarla (at least Sarla is not shady, just crass).

I think Ahaan already knows its Ishqi❤️.

On a different note, I guess Sonu takes after her mother. I mean they are not the brightest bulb in the room, and they are always scared of everyone / everything; no guts or spine to do anything. I think Ishqi understands this about Sonu, which is why she is always supportive of her. Ishqi like Ahaan had to fend for herself. I mean look at her environment - a submissive but caring Aunt and a good for nothing Uncle. With Ahaan, the only difference is he was the older brother so he had to fend on behalf of his sister too - hence the over protective trait of his. This is very well connected in the show with his concern / care towards Ishqi - not because of pity but because of familiarity of circumstance.

Both Savitri & Sonu are nice enough but will never help anyone in trouble if it puts them at risk in any way - both are cowards

Sonu didnt dare speak about Mayank to Ishqi which is really unfair, also unbeknownst to her it would actually solve her problem with creep Mayank

Savitri didnt dare do anything to protect Sonu despite feeling bad about it by thinking she’s some random girl & it will get her caught & she wont meet her children

But if she had intervened- that would have brought her closer to her children

Both mother & daughter are selfish cowards & create their own problems through not having courage to deal with them
