While I agree with the points you have stated wrt Virat’s character.. but how I would put this is that he is not the perfect, ideal ML. He is flawed.. and so are almost all the characters, including Sai. It is more about who has more flaws here. There are people who behave without morals. They are the negative or dark characters. While grey who can chose to be selfish may behave in certain way. But here we are talking about people who have their morals intact but the way they perceive and react to different situations is what changes our outlook towards them. Its not because they are selfish or wicked in their ways, they are good at heart and have good intentions, but its certain weakness that gives way to their behaviour/reaction

Very well said his acting is as if he's the fragile female lead of the ITV shows nowadays they also started changing....but he's just replacing them.

He keeps crying river his dialogues are so as if I can't hurt you for the sake of.....(lots of excuses)

As if he likes to be the interest of both Sai and Pakhi so no need to clear his instances with Pakhi..and keeps sai as extra...

ditto!

If he can clear his stance to pp , why not to family who is so desperate to tag her along him...???? - he wants her around as well.

He does not want to insult pp ???? that is what he is doing. If he made his relation clear in front of all CN members, no one would send pp to virat that often....

why does he keep giving clarification to pp?

As like he owes her.... like she has rights on him.

In hospital even - he never mentioned to pp that she is his vahini, that's why she must not stay with him... it looks bad in society & sai feels bad too.... specially while they have past!

He kept saying (serving jalebis) he does not mind if sai stays over (did not say he wants sai with him) ... pp should go home.... as she is tired😡.... etc.

his reasoning to send pakhi back from hospital that pakhi was tired so I send her back lol... why not he cleared his stand to all so called ghar ke bade that his wife has this right not his brother wife

when he showed power of his money to sai when he knew that her father lost his life for him... more n more incident... ... made me really think that this man can't love anyone because man first love is their mother and his Aayi got daily dose of insult in front of him and sometimes from him too.

Jiske khud ke ghar mai itne crime hote hai vo ya dusro ko justice dega

I say this everyday for him.. He was the same when he spoke about his and Pakhi's kabhi na khatam honey wala pyaar 😆

He's not a bad guy. Just incredibly dumb and unaware of his surroundings. Devyani's being drugged and imprisoned under his nose, and he never thinks to check what's happening. Pakhi's obviously trying to seduce him, but he has no clue of her motivations, despite them being telegraphed completely. Has no idea his family is a gang of criminals. Easily duped by letter.

Also weak on his principles. Omkar admitted to a crime, but it's cool because he's family. Two days later, he's vocal and strutting again. Also the Pakhi stuff already mentioned, using wishy washy unsure language about why Sai should be at the hospital. Abusing Sai a second time after promising not to the first time.

Why did they make him an IPS officer? He could've just been some regular IT guy, and all this can be believable. But the fact that he's weak on things an IPS officer should be strong on (except shooting criminals), makes this extra unbelievable.

It'll be tough to fully respect the character until he figures out what's under his nose. Come on writers.
