Very valid point. Don't these channels not realise that many people have moved on from TV with the spread of OTT platforms? If they're actively promoting their platforms like Hotstar and if people are paying to watch content there, how on earth can they not be treated like the TV audience? As a viewer, I'd feel cheated if shows I'm invested in get pulled out only due to less TRPs, if I'm paying to watch them on Hotstar, something they've been promoting and asking us to use.

Ye baat to main bhi nahi samajh paati Why the hell is the online trp not considered? 🤔 App banaya hi kyun agar usko consider hi nahi karna hai? 😡 We also pay for the subscription, just like the tv audience pays for the channel 😡

Aajkal poori duniya OTT pe shift kar rahi hai bcz of how convenient it is. They're being duffers if they refuse to see that! 🤔

They want everything. Like hotstar se subscription fee, tv pe channel subscription fee, spoilers dene ke liye followers and organic views. Sabhi kuch chahiye but you cannot have everything all the time!

Guess for TV, they will not consider online TRP... To air on TV that trp maters to them for getting good ads.. for them it's a pure business...

If they are shifting to only OTT then they have no pressure esp when they already have good online viewers base.. ishq mein marjawan 2 been moved to OTT as the TRP's were dropping and colours pulled the plug but owing to online popularity it's moved to OTT voot select...

why would a person pay for both yaar? Either channel lenge ya to HS subscription Paise ka ped pe ugte hai? 🤔

If they really wanted the best benefits for the ads, though, they'd find a way to include all of the tv-viewing audience. But trp only counts a select few with the meter installed in their house What kind of astute business logic is this?
