Speaking of weather , just heard thunderstorm and i asked the kids to check on the laundries. the part is that usually if I go to my parents home everything is done ahead by my parents I jsut to need to show my presence and come back later but now its different story i need to prepare from scratch. I tried to minimise the preps but there is a nagging feeling in me this is Eid if I dont do like how my mom used to then my girls are missing the fun they wont recognise the culture the tradition. My mom till date follow what she learns from her MIL. so all the spreads, the meals etc since i am born is still the same during Eid. She wont change it even we tried to reasoned it. I need to find way how to incorporate all these in my home. just went to check what to cook for today iftar and asked the kids what they wanna have. at least in this part they have something in common. had your lunch? I am against their band, its too noisy and end up with ugly fights and rather then music notes i hear more screamings and yellings like hyena. my girls dont have voice like Spice Girls🤣
True sis,the senior ladies of the house ,be it mom, Gma, gently mostly unknowingly pass the family traditions,over a period of time they turn into family rituals,I can understand what you are going through, right now safety is prime, believe me what we are seeing is worst than nightmare😳
