HAHAHAHAH! OMG i remember that one as well. Background mein chala jata hai. The dude was barely married for one year and he was already talking about background. Some men are just too funny, cute but utterly silly. He can think those things, don't say it to your wife at least 🤣

For a change, I would like him to initiate this conversation about her wanting to move on in life. It will be so mature of him to do so. He may fall in love with her but for her sake, he can initiate this talk so that she has a choice, regardless of his broken heart. Love raises people to greatness. If Raghav does this, he will be one of my fav characters ever. Most ML never speak about their wrongdoings and just hope that the FL falls in love so that he does not have to take the long route. Till then he just sits in fear and insecurities. I find this to be utterly lazy writing.

I know for TV, to separate leads is difficult due to TRP monster always ready to eat up the creative flow, but depending on how they structure it, it will be highly mature of him to do this and it will also be the right thing to do. Even if they do not separate, just the fact that he raises this topic for her ....I'll be clapping 👏

Regarding her devotion to the Deshmukhs and him respecting her for it, well we all predicted this would happen, so far it's good. I just didn't think it would be shown so soon after the wedding, but fine. He now has to build a roadmap of where he wants to go with this, as hinted by his alter ego. It won't be a surgical strike like last time, he'll have to adapt and course correct as he gets to know her better.

It will be special indeed because if Amma and Keerti's current behavior is any indication, he will have them physically in his home but there will be this emotional distance between them. Not for a long while, I think. Later on, only Pallavi can fill the void and the way he's fought to keep Amma and Keerti with him, he'll do whatever it takes to make things better between his wife and him. He started off this marriage on the backfoot and he knows he'll have to work extra hard. Reminds me of the situation with Mr. Bajaj of KZK S1, who was always afraid he could lose Prerna/she could walk out any moment because she was forced to marrying him. There was nothing keeping her there or holding her back. Raghav will feel insecure about this with or without Mandaar in the picture. The day she regains her self-confidence and figures out what she wants to do in life, she can just walk out and be independent. She won't need him and this will make him worried. On what basis will he ask her to stay back and build a life with him? After his current guilt trip, he will probably get to a point later on where he will not stop her, even if he knows that Pallavi leaving might mean Amma and Keerti leaving again, and him being thrown back into that loneliness he had tried so hard to overcome.

Sigh... I'm loving this...

I like this about her. She's not completely "touch me not types" as shown on ITV. She respects his space, he respects hers and when they do have a sensible level of physical touch, it's always meaningful. We live in 2021 and coyness doesn't appeal anymore. At least to me it doesn't. If you want something or someone, put in the effort coz no one has telepathy skills out there 😆

Interesting idea. Rather than him assuming she wants to go and arranging everything for her, which she takes as him wanting her out of his life (how many times have we seen that on ITV), I'd prefer to see a mature conversation. Great if he starts it, but if she does, then I want him to voice his opinion and be sensitive about her needs and wishes, not tie her down in the name of legality, society, marital bond, etc. If he loves her, I want him to tell her that he'd want her in his life, but ONLY if she wants it too. Let her choose. I think we already see that he's that type of person. I don't see him as a domineering controlling type of husband.

Separation tracks are often used on ITV to force the leads to give up their egos and reconcile, or to realize they have feelings for each other, etc. I think it's harder when you are living together and have to come to these conclusions through the mundane in your daily life. It can be so much more powerful storytelling.
