II is more a business venture than a talent hunt show. Hope Arunita will get mileage from this platform in her singing career.

Sometimes I think it will be good for her not to win the competition. The music industry is full of dirty politics and nepotism. Don't want her to be a victim of such politics winning the title. It would be better for her to capitalize the platform in showcasing her capabilities and work silently after the show to build her career in Bollywood. A real talent will definitely find a way to flourish.

Already as per unsupported report, crazy fans of at least two established female singers are spreading negativity about Arunita's singing out of insecurity which makes no sense. Will be happy if the report is false.

I'm in the same boat now. I don't bother about MBD or any of that stuff anymore, because ultimately its not the judges nor the 'winner' title that will dictate her future career. She has a lot of talent and love from the audience, and being given the chance to continue to showcase her songs is what matters most in the long run. Week after week, she gains new fans and showcases her versatility.

I think for the average singer, getting the 'winner' title is quite important because this could be the biggest stage or peak they achieve in their career. However, for Arunita I really feel for someone her age she's got a very bright future ahead and will have a good following after the show ends. This show won't be her peak, and hopefully she'll be venturing off into more important opportunities in the future. Which again is why none of the shows politics bother me anymore.

Only the top 3 contestants of Indian Idol get stage shows and concerts, offers by Sony and various other perks. Top 3 is a must if not top 2. So please don't stop voting. The top 3 get so much hype that they automatically and organically get atleast good offers for concerts and shows. The rest have to struggle real real hard and they still get totally unnoticed throughout their lives. This music industry is a cut throat showbiz world. So it's important to make a mark by coming at the top and maintaining the hype. In today's world, it's really tough to find a way and one is bound to lose hope. In 11 seasons till today, only Neha and Monali have made a Bollywood career. Salman and Sunny have got concerts and shows. The rest are miserable with nowhere to go.
