Jokes apart, there was an interesting shift in dynamics today. Raghav has always used nicknames for him but the moment he called him by his name, something you don't do to your sasur, it was pretty clear that he lost respect for him as Pallavi's Baba, as a senior citizen, and as potentiall his (new) sasur. He was pretty disgusted by what he saw and heard, and based on what he told them and Pallavi later, it's clear he's written Sanki off as a lost cause.

Not only did Raghav lose the little respect he had for the sanki, but he was also genuinely upset about the way they reacted and refused to believe in Pallavi's innocence. Now that he's accepted Pallavi as his wife and has seen the way she's treated by the D's, he needs to make Pallavi see the true colors of her so-called family.

I see him getting more and more protective of her, not because of what Amma says but because he feels she has been and is being from all directions. He can control his own actions from now on but if he can't control that crazy D-fam, he can at least try and shield her from their nonsense.
