The year was 1984. Bhavani's father was a local gangster. After arresting him, Nagesh Chavan was so smitten by young Bhavani's high morals, selflessness and sadbudhi, that he married her.

(Psst....can I tell you a secret? Don't quote me but Nagesh Chavan's death was said to be foul play 😉)
