I think it’s not just pride. I think it’s the fear of losing her son after Shagun’s behavior with her yesterday. If Shaurya comes to know all she did, if Shaurya n Anokhi get together, Aastha might come back and take her son away.

Devi’s whole identity, world and everything is Shaurya. Being his mother. She thinks with Shagun, she can control herself and the situation, but with Anokhi it would be impossible. She will not ever allow herself to be a victim or a target of her manipulations.

And also since her emotions are shallow, she thinks so are Shaurya’s for Anokhi. She will get a rude awakening when she gets to know the intensity of his feelings for Anokhi.

I thought the kidnapping would make her prioritize her son’s happiness. She knows he loves Anokhi! Anokhi is proving that she values his life over her pride. Aastha can be unaware of her faults but you can’t question that she really loves her child.
With Devi, her love is still conditional. I really want Shaurya to tell her to go to hell after all this. She caused everything to go off track for him!!

I thought Devi might, just might soften a bit now towards Anokhi (bkoz Aastha and Devi are breathing same air in one room and still alive in each others' presence, even supporting each other).

I think she had one scene and two lines maybe. I have selective amnesia with Shagun.

I watched yesterday's episode again... That part where Shagun pressurises Devi. And more than scared, I think Devi looked more confused and tired. Even after Shagun left with that dramatic hairlip, Devi was thinking how her plan wouldn't work at all.
