I was expecting a post like this and I agree with everything you've said. I won't lie, I loved the scene, gushed all about it on another thread, but it did feel out of place. Even while watching it, I kept wondering whether there was some mistake in the sequence of scenes, because all of us had clearly expected this to come after Raghav's panic attack.

The only reason I can think of is, CVs didn't get to include any of the classic ITV post-forced marriage tropes here because of Shivangi's absence –sharing of the same room, attending pooja, angsty intense confrontations where the leads are all over each other –and felt like it was high time they gave something to the audience, like giving candy to pacify a crying child. It also seems like they're stressed about the ratings and are trying to satisfy both the TRP audience and online audience.

I'm probably grasping at straws here, the only way for this scene to make any sense is to not take any of Pallavi's threats or call for revenge seriously. She has always been all bark and no bite, very inconsistent with her actions. What Raghav did to her this time is no trivial matter, but seems like she's more concerned with the immediate issue at hand– force marriage. She must have felt that the widow stunt she pulled at the reception was an apt retort to that and learning that Raghav was forced into it by Amma might have softened her. This sounds lame even to my ears, but I could live with this, because irrespective of how illogical the entire sequence was, I enjoyed it because of SaiShi. I was expecting and hoping for angst, but all we got is comedy so far and I'd rather take flirting and romance over the latter any day.

Another reason, which I'm afraid to voice out loud is that may be they're under the radar now and have been asked to wrap up things quickly. But it doesn't really make sense to axe the show as even Star Plus cannot guarantee any show they decide to replace this with to fetch more ratings. 6.30 PM is a weird time and it's only a gamble for the channel, so why not continue with a show that at least has a solid online following and stable ratings?

Ya, after watching episode I came to the forum to see everyone’s opinion and I understood that majority is happy about it. So was sceptical to write exact opposite views . But when ‘ girl enchanted’ made a topic couldn’t resist myself and am relieved now to find there are Atleast some who are in same boat . By the way ur Farhad was also missing today . It was completely RR episode . This new Amma has made RR to mellow down otherwise infront of Ragini mam both were intense at the same time comical also .

He needs to start seeing pallavi in different light with proofs and also take the relationship seriously with pallavi.. like he said today to bindi aunt that pallavi considers u all family and u ppl do this behind her back. It is important for raghav to see who pallavi is, her family dynamics as to how she is being treated so that if nothing else atleast to arouse his protectiveness which he feels for his circle of people.

The story wouldn't move forward unless Raghav stop thinking that Pallavi was behind the MMS scandal. If considered from Raghav's perspective, it'd be crazy to watch Pallavi, the culprit live with his mother and sister and to see them defend her and care for her. I'm surprised that they didn't make Raghav go berserk at Amma and Keerti supporting Pallavi. Also, it doesn't really make sense. Anyone who knows or has at least met Pallavi would know that she isn't capable of doing such a despicable thing.

The story can move forward only when Raghav starts trusting Pallavi or else a man like Raghav tolerating someone he thinks has wronged his family, even under the pressure of his Amma, comes off as absurd.

Yh my reaction to yesterday/todays scene was exactly the same why is pallu being so nice . Blushing smiling.. it felt off to mee. I totally agree. I just kind of put it out of my mind because of raghvi. I just love them and wanted to enjoy the scene. But its def wierd for story. It felt out of place. She had no anger on her face or annoyance she was just casual. I gave her benefit of doubt cause shes sick 🤣

But more i watched the scene and thought about Pallu, yes i would have loved some level of annoyance or anger from her, but she was trying to. Annoy raghav in her own way by getting THE RAGHAV RAO to brush a girls hair and later call him out too for it but he played it off nicely that it was for amma. (@christobelle pointed this out to me) So i think pallu was trying to be mean in her own way but it didnt work. And as for pallu she was never Raghav level mean or vengeful. Its not who she is. She was always going to take revenge with kitchen politics. Casual revenge by annoying him. And i think thats the only type.of revenge we can expect from a girl who has never done any of this her entire life. I still think we will see more of it and angry pallu but this scene jist wasnt executed properly for that purpose. It ended up being cute which was refreshing and enjoyable but def felt out of place.

But as far as story is concerned theres a LOT to unfold still.

So i.wouldnt worry whats left. Track wise theres plenty and Raghvi are still not totally okay with eachother Even raghav i doubt will 100% all of a sudden stsrt trusting pallu. He has trust issues. Another misunderstanding and surely he will screw up again and be angry Rao.. i brt Kirthi track may have some level of fighting btw them all.

Exactly, I agree that Farhad is reduced to ‘ Bhabhi jaap’ which I am not liking . Everyday same thing , yesterday was better he didn’t do that Jaap and Was silent as always when his Anna encountered sanki sasur and I really liked how he talked maturely with Krishna . He is always the one who make up for his Anna’s swag and rudeness with his polite and mature nature .

By the way I feel and I have said before also that dialogues are written only for Raghav . Rest all are delivering whatever they feel . It’s not true I know but still it looks so . Bcause such lame dialogues to everyone. I hated when Pallavi today said ‘ Jaanthi hoon , ye tumhara room hai etc etc’ It sounded so cliche and predictable and there was nothing in that scene which made us hook to the screen except their chemistry but tat too get drowned bcause of timing and lame writing .

By the way are you watching any other shows . I am watching Ishq par zor nahin . Didn’t like it initially due to overacting of FL but she has mellowed down after getting feedback’s I feel . And it has got such a good young cast . May favourite is Karthik who has got some really good one liners . Unlike other Gul shows this ML doesn’t manhandle FL which I liked and Param is acting really well . So many negative characters are there and there is constant topic on’ how a girl and boy are different’ which irritates but still it looks refreshing with sibling bonding and youth .It’s title song is really good . Me too not liking his constant bhabhi jaap at all! For someone like me who's a hard-core farhad and farag fan it's annoying to have pallu in every single convo of theirs 🥱 Farhad definitely balance his anna out.❤️

As far as I know sai modifies some of his dialogues and he's good at it which is why others dialogues seem lame😆 But they definitely need to work on pallu! Her inconsistency is very off putting . Raghav most of the time makes up for that to me but today even be felt short. I loved SaiShi of course but story wise the scene was out of place.

Yep,currently watching shaurya(on/off) only Ahir part, pandya store only ShiVi part and kaatelal and sons😆

Oh yes karthik❤️ I've seen a few clips here and there and I loved him ❤️ read a few posts in that forum regarding ML not manhandling the FL but then the constant clash over clothes is off putting.

The sibling bonding is to die for GK surely knows to give some amazing sibling bonding in her shows.
