Also, not defending here, I also believe that she trusts Astha so much that when Astha said you can change his thinking or his thinking is because of his upbringing, she got pretty convinced that this is it.
I think Akshu had mentioned this and I also believe that Anokhi is operating from flight mode right now. She does not want to get her heart broken further.
Yeah I agree she should realise that he is worth fighting for but that can happen only when he rather than asking her to just believe him or trust him, for once talks about her insecurities and tries to assure her on the same.
I feel bad for Shaurya as well but I just feel Anokhi has a lot more to lose if things go haywire.
Yeah that makes sense but see again Anokhi is making that decision on her own. She has decided to interpret his actions as encouraging her as a professor not a life partner. I definitely see where she is coming from and don’t fully blame her either for her actions. I recognize that she has more to lose than he does in this situation. She is reacting instinctively and guarding herself from getting embroiled further in what she sees is a relationship doomed to fail.
I think I had a different read on the scene with Aasta since I actually think Anokhi disregarded Aastha’s words that he could be changed by Anokhi. She seemed to think Aastha is only saying that because she is his mother (hence the dialogue think about it from my perspective). There is something to be said about whether it is Anokhi’s job to change him which it isn’t. So if she doesn’t want to take that on, that’s fair and understandable.
In regards to Shaurya talking her through her insecurities, to do that he will have to know what those are first before he can right? Following her conversation with Babli, Shagun, and Devi, she wanted nothing to do with him/talk to him. So we will have to see if she openly tells him why she is backing off or not. I’m not sure whether she will directly say it’s because of his soch or if there will he MUs that keep them from being able to speak to each other about this. But until he knows I can’t fault him for not addressing them.
