Why exactly is Virat not clarifying what Pakhi means to him to Sai

So Sai has always been intuitive about Virat and Pakhi. She was convinced of a relationship probably when the pyaar- dosti slip happened and she hasn't gotten enough reasons yet to believe otherwise. But why is Virat not clarifying himself especially after Pakhi making her intentions clear to him.

During Ladakh track when the issue was brought I think Virat was uncomfortable in discussing the past and was caught off guard. H wouldn't have imagined Sai confronting with him straight questions about Pakhi then. Sai has repeatedly voiced her insecurity about Pakhi and honestly, it's a weird equation when they are staying under the same roof.

I don't want Virat to confess his love but what's stopping him from clarifying his past to Sai now that he is fully aware of his feelings. He can't begin unless he makes a clean slate. See even during ousting drama, neighbourhood confrontation Sai made it clear Pakhi is behind her husband. She is clearly bothered and insecure over Pakhi and has voiced this n no of times. She wouldn't even think of giving their relationship a chance because of self-respect and the promise she once made to Virat that she would never come in between his promise.

The onus is on Virat to clarify about Pakhi than give shocked reactions every time Sai talks about Pakhi. Sai needs verbal assurances. He can't rely on his romantic gestures to make her aware that Pakhi is his past. Just like how articulate he was about someone is in his life before marriage he should speak up now too. I don't want too many misunderstandings between them. This is a perfect opportunity for the makers to start their love story by clearing Pakhi.

I completely agree with you. From today's episode it's clear that small gestures and hints are not enough for Sai. He should clearly say that Pakhi is my brother's wife and I don't have any wrong intentions on her in my heart or mind. I LOVE YOU and ONLY YOU. Atleast this would make Sai to think seriously about their relationship and make a decision. Enough of these beating around the bushes wali dialogues.

If Virat eats the food Pakhi makes for him over what Sai makes for the whole family (DevKit invitation), or he eats both just to make Pakhi happy, it will again add on to Sai’s Insecurity. I will be super pissed if he does any of this.

Because he has always failed to realise her insecurities and jealousy w.r.t Pakhi... Even today the way she was irritated when they equated the relationship shared by Mohit and Sai to Pakhi and Virat is something that would have given a picture of what she thinks.. Also I think somewhere deep down Sai knows Virat doesnt love Pakhi..the way she only questioned PP during the neighbour scene and even today after claiming the relationship is different , she question PP..

True Virat should be more vocal. To start with for Sai it’s still a deal marriage & Pakhi has interfered very many times in their personal matter. So naturally she would think Virat is still attached to Pakhi. Also during the throwing out he let Pakhi speak a lot of garbage like gold digger etc & the min Sai spoke up he asked how dare you? So whatever progress they made was gone when he threw her out.

Sai has asked this question many times- Even during Ladakh track he didn’t care to clarify his past. He evaded the question and sort of lied. I don’t know why he can’t understand this is what bothers Sai. He acts amnesiac every-time Sai mentions Pakhi. He likes it or not that’s his past and he needs to own up to it. He has hurt Sai during the Pyaar- dosti slip. Now if he was very vocal about his feelings towards Pakhi during marriage he should be now as well. It was inconsiderate of him to take her into a deal marriage and then make her stay with his ex. Pakhi had also declared his feelings- yet he acts dumb. Sai even brought up the matter infront of his family during PD track. Pakhi did whole drama of Pavithra dosti then.

For him feelings don’t exist for Pakhi but isn’t it clear to him that Pakhi still loves him. He needs to speak up to Sai atleast. His jelabis like today’s wont work.

Agree to your points here. And thats the million dollar question that the entire fandom wants to ask that - Why can’t this guy come clean about his relationship with his friend despite several accusations?

But guess the CVs want to stretch the family drama.

It is indeed a million dollar question. I think we should troll the makers regarding this..it's getting too ridiculous
