I don't think its about not having another house. Its about him not leaving the family. ITV loves staying together in a massive family then fight everyday, conspire against each other everyday and what not, but if you separate from the toxicity, its a bigger sin than conspiring and fighting everyday.

I have been telling this ever since I watched the precap. And forget precap, I was dreading this scene since I know the other versions too. Which family will act this way with their own son sho jjst returned from the hospital. Shame on them.

It is not only now, I have always felt bad for Virat in the past too when he always had to oblige to whatever they say. The expectations from him has always been high. The way Ninad talks to him has been horrible. He always had to maintain peace with these people. Always had to please them whether he himself is happy about it or not but he used to do it from the bottom of his heart.

The way Kaku expects that she should be given more importance by him than his own mom shows how much the boy in him would have missed what he wanted to do with his mom. How he always had to compromise his feelings because of their expectations. He had found a way around to keep all of them happy. He seems to have been doing this for a long time, from his childhood.

The way he takes blessings from everyone and his mom at the end says that too. His mom used to hug him and shower her love whereas the rest expect formality from him always.

Even Ashwini couldn't do anything to send him to his room now so that he can take rest. Horrible family. Yes, Sai has got a lot of love from her Dad, Virat too had got love from his mom, but at the same time had to always deal with such people too sadly.

So true. I felt so bad for him today. Even Sai and Aai were worried about him. Noone else. I really wish Sai asks them this.. if you hate me, hate me, but you love him, spare him till he gets better at least.

I truly wish Sai says something like that. Or at least sets boundaries for people on ganging up on their relation.

You put it very well about how it would have been for him since childhood to please everyone. No wonder he is a people pleasure and tries to find a way around argument or confrontation because these zombies never seem to tire.

@bold yeah, he has learnt the art to tackle these without disrupting the peace in the house. His mom also lives in this house and he knows how miserable they can make her life when he is not around. Is very careful about what he speaks so that she doesn't have to face the brunt of his words/actions.

Sai had the freedom to express herself and he loves it about her. She is not just a person good at heart but is also full of love and life.

He was conditioned to act this way. Though he doesn't express it, him suppressing his anger shows how much he has actually been suppressing his emotions. And the same emotion, he doesn't feel like suppressing with Sai knowing that she will understand, will not judge him like his family members. He has developed a lot of patience and tolerance too because of the way his family is, that has been his survival method.
