My analysis on the scene where Virat said that he had asked Pakhi to go home and take rest.

Virat felt uncomfortable to disclose the truth about why Pakhi stayed back. He knows that Pakhi stayed back because she has feelings for him, but he cannot tell that to everyone. He is also embarrassed with the thought that she stayed back the whole night with him and also with what the doctor said (calling Pakhi his wife).

When Omi had said that Sai sent Pakhi back, he was shocked, then Sai asked Pakhi if she asked her to leave, Virat kept looking at Pakhi in disbelief. Sai kept prompting her to reply and he noticed that Pakhi refused to answer her. Virat also heard Sai's word "Banavati aason se jo jhoothi kahani likhi hai jise padkar ghar ke saare log mujhe galat samajh rahe hain, uska jawaab toh aapko dena hi hoga".

Virat I guess had made up his mind to clear Sai's name from all the accusations in front of his family members after what Sai spoke.

Sonali then jumped in saying Pakhi never lies, Virat immediately defended Sai that Sai also never lies.

Sai then added that whatever Pakhi would have said you would have all blindly believed it.

"Aansoonon se lipta hua jhooth aksar sach lagtha hai, hota nahi hai"

I believe Virat could see the truth in Sai's words, he kept looking at Pakhi. He would have realised how true Sai was, that Pakhi would have manipulated his family members against Sai by showing some fake tears. He anyway knew what the truth was and that Pakhi had lied.

He could see everyone were targeting Sai and asking her questions, accusing her of insulting Pakhi and the way Karishma spoke was the last straw.

The topic had changed into truth and lies, so he would have thought he he can as well tell what he actually had told Pakhi in the hospital, because that can anyway be shared with the family.

The truth is that he did anyway ask Pakhi to leave and take rest. So since all were targeting as if Sai was lying, he might have thought, he can tell the truth since Pakhi can't deny that he said that. He knows that Pakhi anyway won't be able to admit the real reason behind staying back and so will have to accept what he was claiming.

At the end he had anyway cornered Pakhi by asking if he had said that or not. That wasn't his intention but I believe he had this time decided to play it smart (by ensuring he tells one part of the truth which cannot be even denied by Pakhi) with Pakhi.

At first even I couldn't understand why he spoke what he spoke but I felt that he would want to draw a line with Pakhi especially after whatever has been happening and whatever happened in the hospital. After the way he grew angry on Pakhi for not clarifying that she was not his wife, why would he mislead Pakhi?

Some might not agree, but I thought that this is another way to look at the scene.

Not only did Pakhi made Sai a liar, but by saying that you always side your wife, she meant that you are taking the blame on your shoulders to hide Sai's mistake.

It looked like he wanted to exclude Sai from the equation by saying that even before Sai was in the room, did I not ask you to go home to take rest? It was the first thing he said to her after knowing Sai is not around.

It was like he wanted his family to know that Sai visiting him did not influence his decision, i.e. irrespective of if Sai was there or not, he did not want Pakhi to be in the room with him.

Since it was his family's decision to appoint her as their official caretaker for him that night, the only decent thing he could tell was 'to go home & rest'.

He wants to see what Pakhi will reply to that, will she say he is lying?

His line of questioning might change depending on how she answers to that.

It is an incomplete scene, deliberately kept that way for suspense.

I haven't yet watched the last 2 episodes. But I read kafi kuch online, and my first reaction was similar. I also thought that he's embarrassed to bring everything up in front of his family, especially in such a 'sanskaari' family. I felt that he still wants to draw a line with Pakhi and support Sai. Unlike Sai he doesn't likes creating scenes (when he's calm atleast). Another aspect may be him still be weak and that he doesn't have the energy for a lengthy confrontation. But again, I haven't yet watched the episodes so I may be wrong. So I completely agree with you. I think people are really quick to judge Virat (not sying that he's always right, far from that).

I just watched the episode and especially this scene since I read a few posts online 🙈. I couldn't believe that he would mislead her, especially after the recent turn of events.

The scene has not finished yet, will continue today.

Yes, he was weak, but that didn't stop him from defending Sai actually. He was very clear with whatever he spoke despite the fact that he just returned from the hospital. And he anyway tries to act calm and patient, he has actually challenged Pakhi in a way that she can't even deny.

Let me know if you can once you have watched the episode, whenever that is 😆.

True, it is actually a battle between him and her, he didn't like her dragging Sai into it.

Yeah, she has been weaving a web of lies, how will she come out of it after he has actually said the truth? That is why he was very careful in whatever he spoke.

That is a nice thing that you have pointed out. Thanks Sukri ❤

Hope his family gets the clear message 😡

I hate how everything has to be said in a way these pagal can understand. He would have wanted to shout at Pakhi or scold her like how he did in the hospital and he is made to answer like this since he knows her value/place in his family's eyes 😡.

He wants to see what Pakhi will reply to that, will she say he is lying?

Exactly, he has actually challenged her now. Checkmate kind of a position 😉

His line of questioning might change depending on how she answers to that.

Yeah, something good to look forward is today's episode.

Yeah, they always like to do this in shows. I am not in a hurry anyway since I have understood his plan and Pakhi's fake tears and game has clearly failed 🤣.

Replied in the other thread a few minutes back 😆.

Actually, I wasn't bothered about the tired dialogue regarding Pakhi at all. It was him trying to reveal what exactly happened keeping in mind the maan of relationships. It is his style of operation - he is diplomatic.

What actually bothered my was his response to Bhavani. His defence of Ashwini as well as Sai felt weak. After all that happened, Bhavani got away with mouthing really insulting things against Sai. True that he knows only about Omi's criminal act. But he is aware of atleast his other family member's role in instigating him - which lead him to say that they hold equal responsibility in ousting Sai as himself. That was the reason he was visibly pissed off with everyone - except Bhavani. But why? I'm yet to understand. Because I feel Bhavani is the key in the madhouse - others are just her minions.

I totally agree with you laksh, actually I didn't find anything wrong in the way virat answered pakhi back, yes even I upset when he said I asked pakhi to go back to take rest because she is in hospital whole night but that's only for an instance ... But after that I thought ki, how can he say everything infront of his family.... Pakhi is not only pakhi random some girl, she is his jeeva's wife, pakhi's respect is his jeeva's respect , then how can he openly says his jeeva's wife wants to stay with him because she likes him..... Let us think this for a moment, what if Karishma stayed with virat to take care of virat ( it won't happen but assume ,there is no other option so Karishma has to stay) virat might felt uncomfortable but not uneasy feeling ( why the hell is she here Wala feeling, plz isko nikslo yaha she vala feeling) because he knows Karishma treats him as dhadha where as pakhi we all know.... But according to family ( atleast virat assumes) Karishma and pakhi are same in this matter, so how can he display his taky feeling infront of them , so he just tried to defend sai with truth yet hiding pakhi true intentions..he want to make them aware that he wants pakhi to leave way before sai arrives, so sai has nothing to do with her exit.

Good to read your analysis...I thought exactly the same. I agree with others that Virat should be forceful in putting his family members and Pakhi in their place.

However I thought that firstly he’d come out of surgery - he’d supposed to be weak, secondly the point you made about being respectful. He apologised to Sai after her father passed away that he could never disrespect her or any girl (parking the lapses of judgement).

I also think that Sai is a strong independent girl...she’s strong enough to deal with the Chavans. I don’t want them to make her character weak by making a man protect her.

I felt that Sai broke because of Virat’s behaviour- she doesn’t expect any different from his family snd Pakhi.

let’s see what the next episode brings🤔

I still feel Virat should have reminded his elders that it is his wife and not his brother’s wife who has to take care of him . I wish he had questioned Ninad how could he send back his wife who desperately tried to be with him the moment she heard about him.

I am sure Sai also must have wanted to hear him say that once again.

Yes he need not expose Pakhi’s intention and the way she pretended to be his wife but he should have ascertained Sai’s right to stay with him .
