When sai took so called stand for virat & Ashwani|

As virat had never done anything for sai , I want to know when did sai had taken so called stand 4 virat or Ashwani.

Many times, some I remember — after manhandling fiasco, pakhi comes to room and accuses virat, sai defended him, during that Hindu ritual (white saree), everyone was mad at virat for bringing food for sai, she stood up for him, etc.

She stood up for Ashwini, after that virat did too hence Shivani said, “kharbuja ko dekh ke..” don’t remember the dialogue also Hindi isn’t my language.

Just adding few points when Sai took stand for Aai

1) After returning from PD’s house when Ninad threatened to use physical force on Aai she countered him & spoke up for her

2) During Amay track and later that night she confronted Virat for talking rudely to Aai & humiliating her

3) After the Amay track when Aai was in room she clearly consoled her when Aai was feeling euphoric about someone finally speaking up for her.

Virat has never done any of these for his mother. Instead has actively participated in berating her during the Amay track and a few other times too. Sai definitely has took stern stand for Aai than Virat ever has. Its only with Sai that Ashwini has found her voice to speak up to Kaku as well.

she has obviously defended Virat also many times as few have already posted. Also Virat has many times failed in protecting her from humiliation by elders. It was his responsibility. Even the Jungli Mulgi slur is still being used. Also in GC Virat said he will take responsibility for his family’s behaviour. Did something change today? No.
Please don’t be so blind to overlook all these traits. She was amply shown taking stand for Aai/ Virat more than they have ever taken for her.

Also Sai isn’t supposed to be Virat’s spokesperson/ shield. Virat isn’t grilled like her in the show or is in the receiving end of taunts by fam. He took her responsibility so he’s the one who should ensure she is treated with respect by HIS family. Not the other way around

see honestly I don’t care you are being blind or not. You asked and some of us here gave egs. What we wanted to say is proved. Its upto you if you want to take it or not. What marriage vows& respect? Is that the topic? See all of us perceive the show differently. We can discuss different PoVs but please don’t come with an intent to argue. Also Please stop beating the bush around. Sai has berated Virat for insulting his mother.. While leaving for admission, when Virat reprimands Ninad, Sai also asks him to not talk in that tone with Aai.. For Virat Sai has taken and still taking a lot of abuse by his family.. Yet today, she was called names, the moment she entered and she stood there without reacting much (for Virat )till they brought in the Patralekha being beizzatied by Sai.. She was literally called the reason for all the bad things happening in the family by the wife of the man who has done a criminal offence and has been spared by an IPS officer who is also their nephew.. and yet his wife is being treated that way..

But before answering this question, when has Virat been abused emotionally and physically by the elders or called names that Sai needs to stand for him? Am I watching a different show where Virat's family is criticized, he is treated like servant at times, he is called names , his father is being called names, he is domestically abused?

It's not that they don't take stand for each other. They do. The thing is Sai being Sai she will take stand every time she will see Virat and Ashwini being insulted or taunted but Virat sometimes doesn't go against his family because he can't be harsh to his family. He is pretty slow too when he retorts. He will wait for them to say 10 things before opening his mouth.
