I dont know how it works with legal stuff and maybe Pallu will have more insight on this then the rest of us given her latest reading material 🤣.... but like if her first husband returns from the dead..

What i really wish to see is there be a Court episode.. where the Judge says it is up to Pallavi who she wants to consider her husband .. i feel like even if its not a legal and approprate way to do these things.. it would be awesome if the show depicted some rights of the women in this way 😉

I personally would just love to see Deshmukhs and he who shall not be named on one side.. and Rao family on the otherside with Raghav.. and Pallu goes over to Deshmukhs.. Raghav turns thinking he has lost Pallu.. and then Pallu says SORRY HE WHO SHALL NOT BE NAMED... mera Dil raghav ka hai.. aur Raghav ko hi mein apna pati manti hoon.. imagine.

In real, legally marriage is needed to be consummated to be valid. So in Pallavi's case her first marriage can be nullified if she applies to the court. It's legal issue but society runs differently hence she is considered widow of mandhar. But legally she can make that non valid 👍🏼

So if that man ever returns, Raghav can easily nullified her first marriage in the court and become her legal husband (guessing by that time they will consummate their marriage☺️ )

But in the show they will never raise this point and go on with, pallu kiski patni hai drama 😆

So acc to the Indian Evidence Act, a person missing is presumed dead after 7 yrs.

The show hasn't cleared their stance on whether Mandaar is missing or dead.

If dead the marriage is valid.

If missing then the person has to actually obtain from the court the presumed death certificate of the husband or wife and then a decree of divorce and only then they can remarry.

So if mandaar reappears and I presume it hasn't been seven years then definitely RaghVi's marriage is invalid.

Consummation comes from being impotent and not cause he went missing.

So it's not actually a valid point.

Here the husband is missing and if he comes back then the marriage stands valid.
