I was expecting the "widow truth" to have zero impact on Raghav, but impact ke naam pe to inn logo ne comic direction hi le liya. This Raghav is not someone I know. I mean Raghav isn't a clown bro. He has always been a temperamental, egoist, Don. But ye Amma ke aate hi ye "Amma ke babu ka baby" wala scene ban jayega, ye frivolous, bachkaana brochara with Farhad, is quite disruptive to the flow. FaRag ke beech ka pyaar ka bhi ek class tha, ye to bilkul nahi tha.

The scene between Raghav and Pallavi was still better. I could still see a strong undertone of rage in her eyes for him. Only a sadist like me can understand sadism😆. So yes, Pallavi looked like a sadist. Quite unlike Khushi from IPK. Calm, cold, sadistic prankster. Raghav was being the clown here. Pallavi has changed. Woh bachkanapan chala gaya hai.

Raghav, Farhad, and the writer. Why write such frivolous scenes and what purpose do they serve? It may be comic to the general viewers, but for people who watch the story, this wasn't something we wanted to see. Nok-jhok thik hai. Thoda baad me bhi aa sakta tha. But FaRag scene was OTT. Raghav behaving like a clown for the bathroom was OTT. And making a "suicide comment" for her widow truth, that was plain distasteful, even for Raghav. It wasn't funny. He never took an interest in her life, fine, but at least iss situation ka mazaak na hi udata. Usko kya pata, ki uske husband ki death kaise hui thi? Just because the said widow, isn't Amma, to mazaak uda lo. Aise aadmi se koi kaise pyaar kar sakta hai yaar. Sorry, I did not enjoy it one bit.

Sharda Deshmukh, not my concern.

I get the makers are struggling and the situation is not great, but so is every TV show bro. I get Shivangi was unwell. But problem ye hai, that Shivangi looked the most tasteful today, no matter how short the scene was. And the rest was OTT. And please makers, Raghav needs some emotional depth now. I understand he filters everything, but insensitivity is going borderline. If this is the way he will approach everything about Pallavi, then whatever Pallavi does to him will look justified. And Pallavi isn't Raghav, she will not cross limits as he does.

I'd be lying if I say i didn't enjoy the epi but at the sametime I didn't like it. It's the same situation as the lion track for me where I didn't like pallu's character or the lion track in general but I liked raghvi scenes here also same.

I so agree with you about raghav not getting affected at all🤪it's disappointing.

Also agree about farag. It felt a lil forced .In fact I find farhad plays a forced cupid in raghvi equation to be very honest. There's so much more to farag than talking about pallu 24x7. This is what I feared will become of farhad and this is exactly what is happening atm. Having said that I loved today's farag scenes.Maybe coz I'm biased towards farhad/farag.They just make me happy wherever they are on-screen😆 even when I don't like the subject of their interactions😆

Exactly! We are on our way to 80 epis and still no progress from raghav is indeed very off putting. At this point raghav knows every single details of her life while pallu knows nothing about him. On top of this his no care attitude🤪 Mereko toh abhi lagra hai he'll fall for her Only after knowing about the donor truth. Matlam he'll not love her for as pallu but will love her as his amma's saviour

My expectations with this show ends here.The leads are promising and they have it in them to make a decent love story with a fresh charm. However the problem with ITV shows is they plan the initial episodes so well, but don't work on the ending or middle. This one toh I feel like they don't understand their own characters. I could only relate to aai today. And Pallavi too when the BGM was playing. These were good scenes, I will give them that. They developed a new track and incorporated every practical aspect of this marriage from Pallu's family POV in aai's dialogues - that is good writing. And the scene at the end - where a tear escapes Raghav's eyes - good! But the rest of this all could have been executed in a better way. Bathroom scene didn't have to be that long. Unnees Bees Tees was funny, and so was the plumbing cross connection. But that is a situational comedy, the actors don't need to be comedic.

RaghVi just need to be in their elements and in the same room - that's enough. The situations can be anything, but they shouldn't break the characters, rather should show the transition, without altering too much. They build up a mood and then an abrupt scene comes and you are like what? This was the problem with the pin-saree scene too, it was a beautiful scene, but the next scene and episodes make it seem like a so random scene for the sake of it. As if that Raghav didn't exist at all in the show.

Also, they need to work on their side characters. Amma is on and off. She is decent, but she is the reason Raghav agreed to marry Pallavi, her character needs to go beyond the dialogue baazi mode and make her more humane. Amma in order to keep that accent and dictating intact is compromising on subtlety. Keerthi needs to move beyond the single expression. Honestly Deshmukhs are holding up their characters nicely in that limited time. I liked how Vijay Deshmukh decided to give Pallavi back keys to DSE, that is character progression as well as keeping the core intact. I like aai's take too. With the house, the Deshmukh family household vibe is gone, but the new house and characters are just about right.

The Raos could have a classy vibe. Raghav Rao and Farhad have that. But the new mansion and lack of genuine bonding between Amma-Keerthi-Raghav is just not cutting it. I am dreading typical ITV SP saas-bahu-beta scenarios to become the theme of the show. Aaj toh FaRag ko bhi cartoon bana diya. 🤣

Aur Farhad obedient cute Devar ban gaya. 🤣🤣

How I wish them to have genuine friendship and admiration for each other, before the forced marriage equations being imposed on us.

How I wish that Amma and Pallavi also developed some genuine bonding before acting like ITV MIL and DIL.

Par ye toh ITV hai. So never have any expectation from them, just watch the episodes and have fun. Honestly one should watch a show after it's completed. Because then you can skip the scenes, enjoy in peace, be free from all the offscreen stuff and just watch the show and not be bothered for the show or leads. It just spoils the fun. Happened with me during KRPKAB, and that was such a good show, but daily watching, analysing and discussions and dissatisfactions kind of took away from the actual show watching experience.

So have decided to leave it here and just watch it after some 20 episodes to enjoy and review it bindass.

I agree with each and every point you made in this post. Even the one where you compared the Rao's and Deshmukhs. The later may be a bunch of hypocrites except Ayi who is the only consistent and relatable character in the show right now, but Deshmukh's they are all still "in character" . Rao's on the other hand, amma especially has been very dogdy off late.. and I agree about Keerthi, as I had mentioned about it in some post..the actress is pretty but she has a constant expression on her face no matter what the scene is..About Raghav and Pallavi, I have said enough already. They really need to write better..the episodes should flow into one another..and look like they are part of narration..not like 4 random scenes stitched together to make an individual episode that looks like a misfit in the overall narration..

I was hoping that wouldn't be the case but ab to yehi lag raha hai.. Mis-understanding ka mis hatega, donor truth reveal hoga tabhi shayad (I still doubt this guy😆) inko kuch feel ho.. In my ITV daily soaps watching experience, I can safely say that I am seeing this for the first time when the guy is so out of tune when it comes to feeling for the girl.. even his hatred is not full blown now.. 😆

Raghav has been different, but there isn't any need to water that down, by what they showed today. Raghav as Raghav is enough. No need for him to be childish. I mean this looked forced. He is more natural with his quirky dialogues which are fun too.

I mean, there are ways of showing filler episodes, but this was a rather bad example. And I don't think Shivangi's absence is the excuse. Don't know the reason for this. Hope we have better episodes. Everyone has bad days. Today was one of them, I guess.

Seriously man🤣 by itv standards raghav should've been half way through in love but 🤪I'm clueless what are cvs trying to achieve with raghav by showing him like this?

I know Su! Khushi was a goofball from the very beginning..a child woman. Raghav's not a child man eventhough he can be very immature in handling things. But his mannerisms have never been goofy. he has always given the vibe of a suave, ruthless businessman and I wish they maintain that..He is effortlessly funny without even trying, when he interacts with Farhad.. But it shouldn't be the same with Pallavi..they do not share that kinda comfort or chemistry right now..

Filler episodes when actors especially one of the leads are unavailable, is fine.. some comedy is also fine if its situational and not forced but let the characters be in their element.. and not act like completely different people especially in important continuity scenes like yesterday..

I hope they pull it together.. but have already seen the chicken pox BTS so Im guessing more frustration coming up for viewers like us.. as long as they don't go OTT..

Vijay Deshmukh is a character with impact, even if he gets annoying.. They all add to the drama, though the drama should not be too much. But his ego, principles and equation with Pallavi and Raghav hits home. Sharda Aai's concern does too and so does Mandar Kaka's mild gentle nature. I maybe the only one who really wants them in the story very much, but for the less screen time, because they make Pallavi's character arc strong, and they are going to have an impact on choices she makes in future.

For similar reasons, Amma and Keerthi need to be developed properly. As you said Amma is dodgy and is just not convincing as a strict estranged mother. I don't often see that bond between their family. In their family caring karna matlab kaju katli-phirni-gift laana and Raghav doing Amma jaap. LOL. Pallavi's bond with VD-SD is much more convincing than Raghav-Amma for me. Amma's disappointment with Raghav doesn't need to be in form of bhashan dena always, it could just be frustration, sadness, guilt, longing, hopelessness, giving up, trying to understand him, trying to instill some sense in him- anything but not just thappad maarna and dictator dialogues. Their equation should move beyond the cycle of disappointment-blind appeasement. She is like I am disappointed in you, and he is like I will do anything for you, chalo Farhad Amma ke liye kuchh khareedte hain. 🤣🤣
