Genuine doubt

So Mrs. Leena Gangopadhyay is the developer of our show as well as anupamaa, imlie, saakk, sns2.

So is it that she has patented all of her stories and maybe that's why no changes can be made in the plot?🤔

Anupamaa and GHKKPM are the only shows I watch. Former show meiin thode bahut major changes hai story meiin.

Atleast all of LG shows on star plus (except our show) don't copy the exact scenes or dialogues.

Pandya store meiin bhi og se bahut saare cheezein alag dikhaya.

If the story is not patented, then why aren't makers planning to change the regressive plot. Tamil version was not official remake but was only based on KD (as per wiki) and that's why story changed after Vikram Saranya patchup.

I guess she holds the copyright issues. Even Imlie is also the same.

Ghum had a deviation because of Covid and same with Anupamaa for Covid.

i don't think that's the case cause the other shows have changed their storyline and dialogues a lot!

I feel she might be holding copyrights of the general story but they can change things up! the jist should be the same though

it is more to do with the PH... I feel they were starting of with a risk by casting almost all new or rather not very popular in the hindi industry actors... It was definitely a risk!

none of them thought SAIRAT would be such a big hit!

so i guess they kept the story similar... honestly, they have it in them to show creative tracks and show something different and I hope they deviate from here!

The feedback going to them is also the same, everyone wants them to deviate so i hope they do cause the tamil version was the same till Devi tai child truth post that they also deviated! I have a feeling they will, so let's see

But if she holds the copy right and they have officially said that this is a remake then they can tweak tracks but not change the story line.

\Like they have been doing, they have kept the crux similar but tweaked the track. Even this track was a little different in the original. Plus the Devi tai ka track would also be a little different than the original

That deviation was like a ray of hope. But makers ne woh kidnapping kaand aur chavanis ke crimes ko undermine kar diya only because og meiin aisa kuch nahi tha. That was some next level blunder😑😑

They have a freaking book author as their creative. Authors are supposed to be woke, aren't they?

I hope they change the plot from now on. Waise bhi hume bhi ab thoda toh suspense lagna chahiye na.

It is not like that. As far I know, you cannot patent a book. You get a copyright on it. The owner of the copyright can give permission to someone to use their work. How much you want to change the story depends on the contract signed between the parties.

As it is a TV show they must have the right to make changes as much as they want and just mention that this show is an inspiration from the Book.

Copyright is the word. Mujhe woh word yaad nahi aa raha tha that's why used the word patent.
