Followed by raghavs childish reaction to it. There was no sensitivity involved at all by the writers for this widow factor in raghvi’s journey as a couple.
All episodes post marriage sequence have been extremely disappointing.

This could have/should have been the trump card and the game changer, even if in a subtle manner. It's a big deal!!

Unless they have a perfectly good explanation lined up, I can't believe they'd waste such a big opportunity to move the story forward well, especially for an ITV show. 😕

Now that I think about it, I agree they could have left it out or not treated that suicide dialogue in such a way. He himself has a tragic past because of deaths in his family, something that broke the family apart. He of all people should be sensitive to such losses, not just in the case of Pallavi but people in general.

I completely agree with you, the tone of the entire sequence felt off to me. I couldn't put my finger on it until I read everyone's perspective here. I mean, I loved the episode for the comic elements and the lighthearted feel but did not like the fact that the overall narrative didn't flow naturally from where we left off in the previous episode. Does that make sense?

I also didn't like him pulling Farhad's cheeks. It just seemed like they were trying too hard to make the episode funny, instead of situational as is their typical style. I have a feeling there was a last-minute change because Shivangi wasn't available.

@bold - makes perfect sense. This is exactly what I am trying to say.. Honestly, we have better writers in IF who could have written a better continuity scene for RaghVi after the grand reception drama. All these comic scenes can be appreciated if they play out at an appropriate timepoint in the storyline. The timing is just so off..

I think Farhad has got a permanent track for the time being, pulling his Anna's leg in the garb of his bhabhi's duties. They can do so much more with that character..

I know u guys r very disturbed regarding stuffs

But i would say that Shivangi was sick or is sick still now we don't know.

And Sai has to shoot more to cover up coz either of the leads should cover up instead. And makers r trying hard to put up something.

i don't think makers thought Shivu would be sick too. The scenes of bathroom as u ppl can notice that it was taken in Hotel

This situation had made a mess of everything. So its better to be patient until they go back to kolhapur with permission to shoot.

Coz now the situation everywhere is uncertain, so they r trying to bank up episodes too. So that even if they stop they could provide something!!

Yes. Actually I want to request writers on IF to write a drabble or one shot on the continuation of the reception scene. I would love to read what y'all think the scene should have progressed like and get better closure for that scene. I can't tag for some reason so could somebody else tag the writers in our forum.

On reception night pallavi was referring amma as "aunty" and today she called her amma in the park. So kuch progress hai. That marriage book scene was so funny 😜 pallu ko aise idea kaun deta hai😂 And that maid sounded more like Air india ki airhostess 😅

Sharda has full right to be upset with pallavi as pallavi never shared her problems with her inspite of her being so supportive. And she is worried that Raghav will spoil her life and that's a genuine concern, unlike VD she actually cared for pallavi. So it will take a while for her to accept everything. Anyway Deshmukh's screen time will reduce gradually, and pallavi start bonding with amma, Kirti and Farhad as a family.

@bold. Writers haven't been consistent with this particular thing about his character. How can someone who's suffered his entire life the consequences of "breaking" up his family and lived under the wrath of a mother who never considered him her own, not waver the slightest in front of a similar tragedy he created for someone else? Yes, Raghav is selfish. But him not sparing any thought for Pallavi being thrown out of her house and his complete lack of empathy about it on the wedding day after Rambo visits him are just so out of character.

The episode was hilarious but they could have waited a day or two before they followed up the high voltage drama and angst of last episode with comedy. It feels like we missed a few episodes in between. I cannot believe the widow reveal, which was touted as the biggest game changer in the story since the beginning was dealt with hardly any tact and sensitivity. No, we don't expect Raghav to sympathise with her. But we did expect better of him than to brush it off with indifference. Nothing seems to waver Raghav at this point and I'm wondering if he ever will.

I was expecting juvenile nonsense to come up, but not so soon. I mean koi flow samajh nahi aaya mujhko.

I was expecting the "widow truth" to have zero impact on Raghav, but impact ke naam pe to inn logo ne comic direction hi le liya. This Raghav is not someone I know. I mean Raghav isn't a clown bro. He has always been a temperamental, egoist, Don. But ye Amma ke aate hi ye "Amma ke babu ka baby" wala scene ban jayega, ye frivolous, bachkaana brochara with Farhad, is quite disruptive to the flow. FaRag ke beech ka pyaar ka bhi ek class tha, ye to bilkul nahi tha.

The scene between Raghav and Pallavi was still better. I could still see a strong undertone of rage in her eyes for him. Only a sadist like me can understand sadism😆. So yes, Pallavi looked like a sadist. Quite unlike Khushi from IPK. Calm, cold, sadistic prankster. Raghav was being the clown here. Pallavi has changed. Woh bachkanapan chala gaya hai.

Raghav, Farhad, and the writer. Why write such frivolous scenes and what purpose do they serve? It may be comic to the general viewers, but for people who watch the story, this wasn't something we wanted to see. Nok-jhok thik hai. Thoda baad me bhi aa sakta tha. But FaRag scene was OTT. Raghav behaving like a clown for the bathroom was OTT. And making a "suicide comment" for her widow truth, that was plain distasteful, even for Raghav. It wasn't funny. He never took an interest in her life, fine, but at least iss situation ka mazaak na hi udata. Usko kya pata, ki uske husband ki death kaise hui thi? Just because the said widow, isn't Amma, to mazaak uda lo. Aise aadmi se koi kaise pyaar kar sakta hai yaar. Sorry, I did not enjoy it one bit.

Sharda Deshmukh, not my concern.

I get the makers are struggling and the situation is not great, but so is every TV show bro. I get Shivangi was unwell. But problem ye hai, that Shivangi looked the most tasteful today, no matter how short the scene was. And the rest was OTT. And please makers, Raghav needs some emotional depth now. I understand he filters everything, but insensitivity is going borderline. If this is the way he will approach everything about Pallavi, then whatever Pallavi does to him will look justified. And Pallavi isn't Raghav, she will not cross limits as he does.
