I liked the idea of creating posts for old episodes... Which are still so cool to watch! Admission, Ragging, Riots, Library, and so on... But given those topics were already discussed when they were aired here... Would it make sense to discuss it again?

Also... What do you think about Shagun's dialogue from that episode?

We are recovering now. My daughter is 9 years old. The virus is rapidly spreading now. I really feel that they should stop the shooting for the safety of the actors.

Shaan and Aastha were a big disappointment last week. But I think this week would be better. Coming to Shagun's dialogue it doesn't go along with the theme of the show. I think all of us support Anokhi in her decision. None of us want her to leave her dreams for Shaurya. We only want her to clarify this with Shaurya. I think the writers did not think deep when they used middle class feminist dialogue. That script was written in a hurry as KV sir fell ill suddenly. This is what I feel. Each time they have to change the script they mess the dialogues. And the dialogue by Anokhi 'Shaurya Saberwal cannot respect any women'. I felt this was also not necessary. Other than his mother I don't think Shaurya was disrespectful towards any other lady.

There are some golden episodes which we can discuss endlessly if interested.

Shagun puts down middle class women for holding on to their self esteem as she thinks they don't know the value of things like status, lavish lifestyle and being the wife of a charismatic person like Shaurya. Shagun as a character has been butchered the day she accepted BM's proposal.

It would be a good idea to revisit old episodes and discuss them again. If you have time and patience please do it and I will definitely participate.

My patience level is pretty high I watch hell lot of stupid tv series and take lot of crap from my manager to boost the patience level ... This show was toh decent till last month... But current episodes don't just offer anything interesting to discuss or talk about... Strictly my opinion...

It is just dragging ever since they have come to Goa... I absolutely understand constraints, issues and efforts but it's not like this is the only show that's facing problems.... Every other show is facing same/similar issues... I don't know if any other storyline suffered from such issues, but definitely not other shows I followed!

Shagun talking crap is one thing but stereotyping good things FL does is extremely sad on part of makers. I know makers are trying to probably show that inspite of Anokhi having this kind of mentality of not making compromises (maybe alone), Shaurya will still be after her over wanting someone like Shagun.. But words chosen could have been wiser.. 😆 Negative for no reason! The show could have been so good had Shagun been here for Revenge and kind of genuinely helping Anokhi... But oh well...

I guess they wanted both to have one backup option of ideal companion and have them still choose each other 🤪unless they show Ahir to not be serious about pursuing Anokhi...

Okay, will try making some posts on old episodes... They definitely have much more to talk about than these episodes... But you should too make some posts... Do you watch any other shows? I used to consider show to be different from other shows but now I feel some other shows have more engaging topics..

I agree it's bad everywhere, but it's like if they have to stop, whole industry needs to stop which might be difficult again.. Not having SAAKK will be bad from SP's revenue perspective.

Well, to be honest, at this point, after seeing Saturday's episode I still feel Anokhi's dialogue about Shaurya not respecting woman wasn't completely baseless... She has seen him disrespecting people in general but with respect to woman in general... Her and Astha for sure.. But even with Ahir, he did day something like he was misguiding innocent woman who is new to the city. And in general she has been subjected to cruelties of family too... So her saying that looks fine...

From that scene what did not make sense to me... Was HER saying "He cannot change" and Astha saying "her love can change him" 😆 because isn't Astha still the one who is living proof of that love changes nothing... And she isn't in Saberwal house with her spineless husband? And didn't Anokhi confirm to Babli... That Shaurya has changed... And she has seen that he is capable of changing... The dialogues should have been opposite for these two!

Alright, I guess everyone is fine to discuss old episodes.. Toh thik hai... Will start from the maybe interview episodes 😆 jab tak yeh log Shaurya ko dhoond nai lete..

Makers have already showed a woman's fight for self respect in a bad light with Aastha. By not giving convincing reasons for her abandonment of Shaurya, all her struggles have been undermined. One of the reasons I started watching this show was in the hope that they will deal with her character in a better way than the original but on the contrary they have turned her into a confused soul.

It would have been so good to see Shagun actually come back for revenge. This would also given the story a different edge. How I wish she double crossed Devi. The depth in Shagun's character is lost.

@bold: Unfortunately I have lost the will to make new posts. Will try if I find something interesting enough to discuss but nowadays the participation of forum members is so low that the motivation is just not there. I can be loyal to only one show at a time 😆. And I watch itv occasionally. Like the last show I was actually invested in and participated in the forum too was Dahleez. Then I watched edkv, krpkab and rishton ka chakravyuh on and off (do you see a pattern?) but did not participate in IF discussions. Otherwise I just keep rewatching American sitcoms.

Not at all wanting to sound negative, but writing is more or less a mess, in my opinion. Only anokhi’s current characterisation and her scenes with Babli plus the kickstart to Babli’s DV story (for which I have been waiting since long) is keeping me to the show. Kv is definitely missed, afterall chemistry becomes the saving grace whenever storytelling goes downhill.

I myself have been so inactive here, since I didn’t know what to express.

At the times of COVID and looking at how many times they had to change the script, then lead actor got positive, actor playing tej too, I didn’t want to criticise them much but I know criticism is what would have been expressed, as is happening now.

In a way nice that the shooting stopped since safety first always, plus writers will get some time to clean up the mess the storyline is.

As far as Shagun goes, at this point I have no idea what her character even is, she is such a misfit and has totally ruined the vibe of the show. Nothing that she does makes sense including the dialogue that you pointed out.

When they have come to the main conflict, the original vibe of the show has totally gone out of the window. This was suppose to be the high point of the show and yet we have nothing to talk about.

All I can say is, take a break if that suits you but do return when the show gets back on track,hopefully soon; You make such amazing posts, I love reading them and the discussions too!

And, as anuprem and you mentioned above already about making posts on old episodes. I too think that’s an amazing idea! I feel anyone who is watching whatever episode again can make a post if they catch on to something new or maybe something they would like to discuss, which wasn’t discussed earlier. What do you think?

Idk what to say since I myself am getting detached slowly. Though, still watching the episode since jugni anokhi is here and the way she is giving it back to sabherwaals is satisfying to watch plus trp factor.

Also, the sisters scenes are so heart wrenching, this bond has always been one of my favourites and I am looking forward to watch how this track shapes up. Also, waiting for kv to return, hopefully is okay now.

Half of their story got ruined due to covid only, and rest due to them not being able to adapt their storyline in a convincing manner.

Last week was really frustrating for me with both my husband and daughter falling sick and testing positive for covid. And now even I have tested positive . Definitely, we shouldn’t lose our interest, and I loved your idea of discussing old episodes, i really miss the old vibe of the show.

I hope makers figure out something to bring the show back on track with a happening story, while the show is maybe on halt, specially since now the story has reached the main conflict.

Astha, as a character, in this show was supposed to stronger one in the show... She has literally been seen as a guiding light for Anokhi... But so far, makers have never even focused on basic actions and feelings of Anokhi... Like after being called on character by a man, how did she fall in love with him so easily? Like within 10 days of show timeline... Expecting clarity for Astha would actually be lot of expectation. The only well-etched character in the show is Shaurya and no one else! And hence, his absence is worst phase for the show... I am 100% sure if they make Anokhi disappear or she takes vacation for 10 days no one would be as eager as people are for Shaurya...

@bold section - I avoid being part of discussion forums now. Before this show, I tried following Anupama on IF (😆 don't mind if anyone judges me for that, I still follow the show for storyline, it has brilliant actors, had scope for wonderful storyline...) but they made it such a dragfest... Like it's finally coming on track with leads actually getting divorced.. But fans on SM (including actors 😏) are promoting leads as a pair.. And it irks... Not worth discussing with such fans.. IF has bunch of sensible and open minded people even for this show!

But last time I had actively participated in forums was 5 years ago for Ek Mutthi Aasman (another DJs show🤪 focusing on bai ki beti bai nai banegi kinda education theme). From the shows you followed, I watched Ek Dujhe ke Vaste and it was beautiful series... Suman's character really attracted me to the show.

American series are the best ones, mostly they are able to write it beautifully because of seasons format! The Big Bang Theory is my favorite one.

See, Covid cannot be excuse when every other shows are managing! Yes, it's a serious issue but it's not like this is the only show facing challenges na.

Personally I feel, they could have avoided whole kidnapping Saga and only focused on Babli-Vineet track. They could have shown Shaurya wanting to take a break post family drama.. If KV had camera in the room, he could have self shot few instances with FBs and all... But kidnapping track seems out of place with Sabs only blaming Anokhi for it.

Shagun's character for me had such a wonderful scope. But I guess they decided to follow OG track. She could have been shown trying to separate these two by helping Anokhi advance her career!

The whole issue about coming to main conflict is tipsy storyline. Show will continue from there once Shaurya is back.. But I don't know what was rationale of waiting for Anokhi to fall in love before bringing the main plot? Like they could have shown her falling while they deal with conflicts... Exactly the way it was done during the night where goons were kidnapping Anokhi and Shaurya saved her.. They did bring up soch front... And that's how people go... Idhar they had to literally make Anokhi foolish so that she can fall for him... And now you see the result.. People aren't able to tolerate stronger Anokhi! Because they fell for stupid Anokhi and Shaurya!

Definitely covid can’t be an excuse for everything, as you mentioned other shows are facing the same. The story is revolving around jeolousy and 3rd angles for more than a month now when they could have invested it in Babli Vineet track.

Same! Kidnapping track didn’t make sense here, it deviates focus from the main plot; his kidnapping seems a bigger issue than the soch revelation which was what had to be the main conflict.

Her character really had so much of scope, they could have given so much of depth to Shagun, but well; also should have brought her much later. They are clearly not handling 3rd angles well both ahir and Shagun, they took away the og vibe.

Anokhi falling in love is still my biggest issue with storyline. Aisa kuch dikhana bhi tha, just show her slowly getting attracted to him instead of outright love. I am not able to digest the fact that a character which was suppose to be a feminist fell in love with someone who insulted her so badly in within a week. There should have been a second apology, to showcase stronger redemption and should have taken their time to start anokhi’s love track. To make it worse she fell in love in 2 days.

This was where her character got butchered, right now she is within her og characterisation, so much inconsistency in her.

I think more than strong scenes, it is the fact this is a very black and white situation, I mean everyone has the same opinion that Babli should kick Vineet out of her life while anokhi being her support. DV is wrong on so many levels and no one should endure it. When everyone thinks the same, then what is the point of discussion? I don’t find anything in it that can warrant a discussion either.

Showing anokhi falling in love is one of their biggest mistakes. Also according to timeline of the show, how is it? Like she fell in love within a week of his apology and now she is heart broken within a week of her falling in love 😭😭😂

In my opinion, At this point, showing mutual separation, and them returning back to og personality, and then developing their bond, this time organically, also soch factor running side by side, bringing back bhallas etc,

This would probably bring back the freshness and the vibe. Idk, I have been imagining all kinds of scenarios 😂

Thanks. We are feeling better now. But COVID drains your energy both physically and mentally.

I doubt if the shooting will continue given the scenario in India now. But we always have old episodes to keep our interest alive in this show.

I have hopes that the show will be back on track once the shooting resumes. Today’s episode was much better. Jugni Anokhi is back and even Kanchan Anokhi conversation was good.
