Waise I feel part of why AC will manage to mess with Imlie's mind also is with regards to her attacking Imlie's self-worth and deriding her as gaaon ki gawaar whom Adi would never pick over Malini....toh I think somewhere that will end up pricking Imlie too as part of her impulsive decision to leave the city and go back to PD. I guess even though Imlie is strong otherwise and knows her self-worth, yeh sab constant attacks from AC will manage to get her down a bit.

I would honestly love it if Adi boosted her confidence on this point once and for all....ki no one can take her place in his life and koi chaah kar bhi uski baraabari nahin kar sakta.

Ab toh maine yeh hope bhi chhod diya hai ki he'll ever explain to Imlie why he was in so much delusion considering what he had with Malini to be love.....there will never be any accountability for all the PDA nautanki he did....lol us sab ko "rishta nibhaa raha tha" ke rug ke under sweep kar denge generally without pointing out how they never had any real understanding or communication.
