No, white saari isn't a dream. Secondly she isn't claiming to be a widow. She wants to say that before marrying Raghav she was a widow, Deshmukh family ki widhwa bahu. And she hasn't accepted the marriage yet (emotionally) so her status doesn't change, she is still there where she was before marriage.
