He wasn't in complete denial throughout.... It's just that he couldn't think about that possibility initially... after that he was confused. Yesterday for the very 1st time he seriously thought about that particular possibility when she touched his wound and that's when there was FEAR all over his face... After that in his house he paused in between sort of thinking on that line and denying it...
